Team news ahead of the New Year's Day clash between Morecambe and Bradford at the Globe Arena.

Jordan Burrow is pushing to be involved once more for Morecambe. Burrow came off the bench for the last 11 minutes of Saturday's 1-1 draw at Chesterfield, the 20-year-old forward's first action for more than a month following a knee injury. Top scorer Kevin Ellison has started both of the Shrimps' festive fixtures having overcome a sickness bug and will hope to add to 10 goals this term against one of his former clubs. Morecambe are without a win for five matches in all competitions and lie 18th in League Two with 28 points having drawn three of their last four. At Valley Parade earlier this term Jim Bentley's men were on the wrong end of a 3-1 scoreline, with Jack Redshaw grabbing their goal. Striker Danny Carlton (knee) remains a long-term absentee. Bradford could be boosted by the return of leading goalscorer Nahki Wells. Wells, who has scored 15 goals this season, missed Saturday's 4-2 home defeat to Rochdale through illness, but is expected to return to play some part, while on-loan Newcastle defender Curtis Good could also return to contention. Zavon Hines is battling to win back his place in the starting line-up after making way for Alan Connell against Rochdale, while winger Kyel Reid is expected to retain his place after making his first start on Saturday since early October due to a serious groin injury. Defender Carl McHugh is still struggling with a calf strain, but manager Phil Parkinson has no other major new injury or suspension worries as his promotion-chasing side look to close the gap on the top three.
