Rob Atkinson: Set to return for Accrington

Team news ahead of Saturday's League Two clash between Accrington and Gillingham at the Crown Ground.

Accrington welcome back Rob Atkinson.

The on-loan defender was ineligible to face parent club Fleetwood in midweek and was absent for the first time this season.

But Atkinson may struggle to make an instant return to the team after Aristote Nsiala put in a strong showing as Stanley beat Fleetwood to record their first win in four games.

Craig Lindfield was also handed a start, for the first time in over a month, and is expected to continue alongside James Beattie in attack.

Beattie ended a goal drought of three years by netting the opener from the penalty spot in the 3-1 victory at Fleetwood.

Accrington boss Leam Richardson has no injury or suspension worries ahead of the game.

Gillingham could welcome back Bradley Dack as they aim to get their promotion charge back on track.

The midfielder has been sidelined for three weeks with a foot injury but played in Tuesday night's Kent Senior Cup tie at Bromley and may now be included in Martin Allen's matchday 18 if deemed fit enough for first-team duty.

Full-back Joe Martin continues to be troubled by his wrist injury and went to see a specialist on Thursday.

Fellow defender Tom Flanagan again misses out with his fractured metatarsal, while midfielder Jack Payne is still sidelined with his ankle problem.

However, League Two leaders Gills do not have any new injury problems to contend with as they aim to get back to winning ways following their midweek 3-2 defeat against Exeter.
