Harrison: Set for recall

Harrison: Set for recall

Team news ahead of Saturday's League Two clash between AFC Wimbledon and Aldershot at Kingsmeadow.

The Dons can welcome back loanees George Francomb, Jonathan Meades and Jake Reeves for this weekend's fixture.

Defenders Francomb and Meades and midfielder Reeves were ineligible to play in Monday's 4-3 FA Cup replay win over York.

Manager Neal Ardley made a host of other changes to his side so the likes of top scorer Byron Harrison, midfielder Stacy Long and defenders Curtis Osano and Will Antwi could also be recalled.

But young striker Charlie Strutton will hope to keep his place after marking his full Dons debut with two goals.

Rashid Yussuff will be checked over after he limped off following a heavy tackle while Pim Balkestein (groin), Sammy Moore and Jason Prior (both leg) are still sidelined.

The Shots welcome back Anthony Tonkin for the short trip to Greater London.

The left-back served a one-match suspension as his team fell to a 2-0 home defeat against Bradford last weekend, leaving the bottom-of-the-table club with just one league win in their last 10 attempts.

Strikers Dani Lopez and Alberto Seidi were handed their debuts off the bench and could well be pushing for starts as Aldershot's struggles in front of goal continue.

The pair were brought in after seven-goal leading scorer Craig Reid was ruled out for four weeks with a knee injury.

Midfielder Adam Mekki will be assessed having also missed the tie, while Olly Lancashire (abdomen), Ross Worner (back) and Craig Stanley (broken leg) remain sidelined.
