Young: Rested at the weekend

Team news ahead of Tuesday's League Two clash between Aldershot and Wycombe at the EBB Stadium.

Jamie Young is set to return between the posts for the Shots.

Goalkeeper Young dropped to the bench for Saturday's 2-1 FA Cup win over non-league Hendon as Glenn Morris was handed an opportunity.

Leading scorer Craig Reid passed a fitness test on the knee injury which forced him to miss the goalless draw at Dagenham last time out and duly managed 86 minutes, meaning he is sure to start against the Chairboys.

Olly Lancashire (abdomen), Ross Worner (back) and Craig Stanley (broken leg) remain sidelined.

The Shots go into the fixture second from bottom in League Two but level on points with third-bottom Wycombe, who have lost three of their last four matches.

Wycombe will travel to Aldershot without potentially 11 first team players through injury.

Caretaker manager Gareth Ainsworth is hoping that Matt McClure will have recovered from his hamstring injury to feature but Gary Doherty (back) and Anthony Stewart (thigh) both came off in the 4-1 FA Cup defeat to Crewe.

Ainsworth's lengthy injury list may mean the 39-year-old selects himself for the third successive league game or striker Dennis Oli, who has been out since September. Substitutes on Saturday Richard Logan and Kortney Hause are also likely to feature.

Also sidelined for the Chairboys are Danny Foster (groin) Grant Basey (cruciate ligament) Leon Johnson (hamstring) Stuart Lewis (hamstring) Matt Bloomfield (groin) Dean Morgan (hamstring) and Jo Kuffour (ankle ligament) while Marvin McCoy travelled with the squad to Gresty Road as he continues his recovery.

Aldershot are level on points with Wycombe having played a game more and either side could fall to the bottom of the Football League should results go against them.
