Jolley: Back from suspension

Jolley: Back from suspension

Team news for Saturday afternoon's League Two clash between AFC Wimbledon and Accrington Stanley at Kingsmeadow Stadium.

AFC Wimbledon welcome back Christian Jolley but still have a host of absentees.

Winger Jolley returns after a one-match ban but striker Jack Midson sits out again as he completes a three-game suspension.

Midfielder Stacy Long is the latest addition to the casualty list after suffering a foot injury against Wycombe last weekend which left him on crutches.

Skipper Mat Mitchel-King remains a major doubt with a back problem and fellow centre-half Pim Balkestein has groin trouble.

Defenders Curtis Osano (ankle) and Callum McNaughton (knee) and striker Jason Prior (broken leg) are long-term absentees.

Caretaker boss Simon Bassey remains in charge having overseen a 1-0 victory at Adams Park in the Dons' first game since long-serving manager Terry Brown was axed.

Accrington are boosted by the return of Toto Nsiala.

The Congolese defender missed the 1-0 victory over Aldershot last weekend as he was suspended, having accumulated five yellow cards in just eight matches.

Stanley will, however, have to cope without Michael Liddle following his dismissal against Chesterfield, meaning the Shots match was the first of three the defender will miss.

Lee Molyneux covered at left-back in Liddle's absence and looks set to deputise there once again.

A thigh injury continues to frustrate midfielder George Miller but forward James Gray should be available for selection following a bout of illness.

Midfielder Matthew Whichelow started the last game but was replaced by fellow Watford loanee Piero Mingoia and the two will fight it out for a starting berth against the Dons.
