Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Fleetwood Town and Torquay United at Highbury Stadium.

Damien Johnson is in contention as Fleetwood prepare for their Football League debut. Northern Ireland international midfielder Johnson was one of Cod Army boss Micky Mellon's landmark signings during the close season but has struggled for fitness in the build-up to the big kick-off with a persistent calf problem. Johnson missed Monday night's narrow Capital One Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest, but has since trained and now looks set to make his bow. Chris Maxwell is poised to make his debut in goal at the expense of Scott Davies having been absent on Wales Under-21 duty this week. Competition for places in attack is fierce, with summer signing Steven Gillespie currently Town's odd-man-out on the bench as Jon Parkin, David Ball and Andy Mangan started against Forest. Meanwhile, Torquay boss Martin Ling has been boosted by the return of winger Lloyd Macklin. Macklin has recovered from a knee injury in time while fellow midfielder Billy Bodin also came through his match with Wales Under-21 side unscathed to provide plenty of competition in the wide areas. Ling's only injury concerns are Danny Stevens, who is missing with a thigh strain, and Saul Halpin's mystery ankle complaint. Stevens may return next week, but Halpin is due to see a specialist as his injury continues to puzzle the club's medical staff. Midfielder Nathan Craig could only make the bench after failing to fully recover from a foot injury in time but will be pushing for a starting role at the weekend.
