Image: Will Grigg: Nursing a hamstring injury

Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Walsall and Sheffield United at the Banks's Stadium.

Will Grigg is rated 50-50 for Walsall's promotion showdown at home to Sheffield United. The 19-goal striker suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty with Northern Ireland recently but managed to feature in Good Friday's goalless draw at Yeovil. Struggling to play twice in four days, Grigg missed the 4-0 rout of neighbours Coventry on Monday and remains unlikely to feature this weekend as the Blades come to town for an encounter between two in-form promotion rivals. Manager Dean Smith has no other injury or suspension problems and, should influential striker Grigg not be available, is almost certain to keep faith with the same starting XI who brushed aside Coventry with ease. The Saddlers, on a 12-match unbeaten run, are just three points off the play-off places in League One. Sheffield United are sweating on the fitness of Dave Kitson and Matt Hill ahead of the trip to the Saddlers. Danny Wilson will give the pair as long as possible to prove their fitness as the Blades continue their push for automatic promotion. Striker Kitson was forced off after an hour of United's goalless draw with Carlisle on Easter Monday after picking up a hamstring problem, while defender Hill was left with double vision following a collision and was replaced at half-time. Full-back Tony McMahon is definitely missing as he starts a two-match ban after picking up his 10th caution of the campaign, while on-loan striker Dominic Poleon has been recalled by parent-club Leeds. Jamie Murphy replaced Poleon at half-time on Monday and could be given a start after he recovered from a hamstring injury. The Blades are six points behind leaders Doncaster having played two games fewer.
