Euan Holden: Pushing for his debut
Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Bury and Coventry at Gigg Lane.
Bury manager Kevin Blackwell has no new injury or suspension concerns for the clash with the managerless Sky Blues.
Tuesday's defeat to Sheffield United left the Shakers five points adrift of safety in League One, with former Blades boss Blackwell admitting afterwards that he needed to bolster his squad.
However, despite those comments, Blackwell freed up another space in his striking department thanks to the departure of ex-Belgium Under-21 forward Jeanvion Yulu-Matondo, who left a day after joining on non-contract terms.
Ethan Ebanks-Landell extended his loan from Wolves in time to play against the Blades and is expected to continue in defence.
Full-back Euan Holden is still waiting to be given his debut, while David Worrall has come off the bench in the last two matches following a thigh problem and may be given a promotion to the starting line-up.
Defenders Phil Picken (knee) and Adam Lockwood (groin) continue to be sidelined along with midfielder Shane Byrne (blood disorder).
Lee Carsley will take charge of Coventry as the midlands club start life without Mark Robins.
Robins ended a mere five-month stint in charge at the Ricoh Arena on Thursday as he agreed a move to Championship side Huddersfield and development coach Carsley will now take the reins for the immediate future, aided by Steve Ogrizovic.
"It's short-term, literally I'm worried about the Bury game," said Carsley, who assisted previous interim boss Richard Shaw following Andy Thorn's sacking in late August. "My ambition is to be a manager one day, I'm not in a rush to be a manager, I'm still learning things.
"I've being doing it for two years, obviously 21 years as a player, two years as a coach. I've gone down the route of managing and coaching at youth level, which is the usual route a lot of foreign coaches go down. I'm not one of these players who felt I could go straight into management. I wanted to learn my trade."
Full-back Blair Adams is facing four to five weeks on the sidelines with a medial knee strain which forced him off in last weekend's 1-0 home defeat to Yeovil.
Carl Dickinson is expected to take his place having this week arrived on a month's loan from Watford.
