Keegan: Faces a late fitness test

Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Doncaster and Leyton Orient at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Brian Flynn will hope to have Paul Keegan available for his first game as Doncaster manager.

Midfielder Keegan was forced off early in the second half of last weekend's 2-1 victory at Stevenage, where Flynn was in caretaker charge along with captain Rob Jones - who headed Rovers' injury-time winner in Hertfordshire.

The former Wales Under-21 boss was named as Dean Saunders' successor on a permanent basis ahead of Orient's visit, with Jones remaining as the 57-year-old's assistant.

Flynn will not be able to call on striker Billy Paynter who completes a three-match suspension, while midfielder Martin Woods is still struggling with the thigh injury that has kept him out since November.

Leyton Orient welcome Anthony Griffith and Charlie MacDonald back into their squad.

Midfielder Griffith has completed a two-match ban and striker MacDonald, the recent signing from MK Dons, was cup-tied for Tuesday night's FA Cup defeat by Hull.

But skipper Nathan Clarke remains sidelined with a broken foot and striker Kevin Lisbie has a hamstring injury.

Scott Cuthbert could start in defence after coming on at half-time for a tiring Mathieu Baudry against the Tigers.

Boss Russell Slade may opt to go without a goalkeeper on the bench after Ryan Allsop left the club this week to join Bournemouth following the end of his six-month contract.

Jamie Jones will start in goal but back-up Lee Butcher (knee) is still injured.
