Madden: Ineligible to face parent club Carlisle
Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Yeovil and Carlisle at Huish Park.
Yeovil will be without top scorer Paddy Madden, with Reuben Reid and Gozie Ugwu competing to replace the Irishman in attack.
Madden, who has scored seven times during his loan spell from the Cumbrians, has not been given permission to line up against his parent club.
It means Reading loanee Ugwu and Reid, who missed the victory at Crawley in midweek with a knock, will battle it out for a place in Gary Johnson's starting line-up.
Johnson, who confirmed this week that former Ipswich winger Jaime Peters is training with the Glovers, will be without Jamie McAllister who will serve a one-game ban while Daniel Johnson has returned to Aston Villa after Yeovil cut short his loan spell.
Ed Upson returns from suspension after missing four games for his red card at Preston while new loan signing Dale Bennett is expected to be available after moving from Watford.
Carlisle manager Greg Abbott could hand a debut to teenage loanee Valentin Gjokaj.
Abbott, under pressure following three straight league defeats, drafted in the Swiss-born Derby defender on deadline day and could be tempted to pair him with another teenage loanee, Manchester United's Sean McGinty, at the heart of the Carlisle defence.
Midfielder Paul Thirlwell faces a late fitness test after missing the last five games due to an ankle injury, but centre-half Peter Murphy is out with a hernia and will undergo surgery next week.
Danny Cadamarteri remains sidelined as he has a small tear in his groin that will keep him out for another two weeks, while fellow forwards Lee Miller, out for more than eight months with hernia and ankle injuries, and Rory Loy (broken leg) remain long-term absentees.
Striker Kallum Higginbotham, midfielder Liam Noble and winger Jon-Paul McGovern are all pushing for recalls as the Cumbrians chase their first League One win in six matches.
