Thomas: Out with an ankle injury

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Coventry and Portsmouth at Ricoh Arena.

Coventry boss Mark Robins will be hard-pushed to make any changes after impressive back-to-back away wins.

Robins watched his side tear Hartlepool apart 5-0 last weekend before keeping faith with an unchanged starting line-up for Tuesday's 3-1 triumph at Colchester.

Home success has been harder to come by this season for the Sky Blues, who suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat to struggling Scunthorpe in their last outing at the Ricoh Arena.

And Robins, who is not expected to have any new injury or suspension concerns, is unlikely to change personnel as his side return to home soil aiming to make it three successive victories.

Striker Stephen Elliott (toe) and midfielders Conor Thomas (ankle) and David Bell (hip) remain unavailable.

Alex Cisak and Jake Jervis are expected to make their Portsmouth debuts at Coventry.

Goalkeeper Cisak and striker Jervis signed one-month loan deals at Fratton Park on Thursday from Oldham and Birmingham respectively and are eligible to feature at the Ricoh Arena.

Polish-born Cisak replaces Mikkel Andersen, who returned to Reading following the completion of his 93-day emergency loan deal this week.

Former Spurs centre-back Ricardo Rocha could make his first start for caretaker boss Guy Whittingham after re-joining the south coast outfit ahead of the Leyton Orient defeat, where he was a first-half substitute.

Pompey are aiming to avoid an eighth straight defeat on Saturday and are currently in their worst run of results for 37 years.
