Richard Lee: Could keep his place in goal

Richard Lee: Could keep his place in goal

Team news ahead of Tuesday night's League One clash between Portsmouth and Brentford at Fratton Park.

Portsmouth will be without Scott Allan but can welcome back three players.

On-loan West Brom midfielder Allan starts a three-match ban after he was sent off during Pompey's 2-0 FA Cup defeat by Notts County on Saturday.

But two other loanees, goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen and full-back Carl Dickinson, will return to the squad having been denied permission to play in the cup by their parent clubs.

And midfielder Lee Williamson is expected to be available after missing out against County with a groin injury picked up in training last week.

Darel Russell was one of only five substitutes named by depleted Pompey, even though the midfielder is well short of match fitness following a hamstring injury.

Teenage forward Ashley Harris will miss out again with an ankle problem.

Brentford manager Uwe Rosler has a selection dilemma in goal.

Richard Lee replaced current first-choice Simon Moore in Saturday's FA Cup meeting with non-league Boreham Wood and made several fine saves as the Bees ran out 2-0 winners.

Moore will be hoping to reclaim his place along with full-back Shaleum Logan and midfielder Toumani Diagouraga, who were also rested at the weekend.

Farid El Alagui remains the Bees' only absentee with a long-term knee injury but fellow striker Jimmy Spencer returns to the squad.

Huddersfield loanee Spencer missed out on Saturday as he was denied permission to play in the cup by his parent club.

Rosler has allowed young midfielder Jake Reeves to join AFC Wimbledon on loan for two months.
