Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Sheffield United and Bury at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield United will include new loan signing Paul Gallagher in their squad.

The Leicester striker has joined the Blades for an initial month in time to feature as manager Danny Wilson will be without suspended pair Michael Doyle and Ryan Flynn.

Skipper Doyle was sent off for his rash challenge on Scunthorpe striker Mike Grella last week, while Flynn was also shown a straight red card later in the same match for his tackle on Christian Ribeiro. Both players begin three-game bans.

Wilson therefore has a big hole to fill in his midfield and with Nick Montgomery bound for Australia for a stint with Central Coast Mariners, there could be a recall to the starting line-up for Richard Cresswell.

Striker Shaun Miller is pushing for his first league start and Dave Kitson, a recent signing following his release from Portsmouth, could be included in the squad.

Defender Darryl Westlake was an unused substitute at Scunthorpe after recovering from a thigh strain, but may have to wait a little longer for his debut as the Blades look to extend their unbeaten league start to six matches.

Andrai Jones is poised to replace injured Bury full-back Phil Picken.

Picken suffered knee damage that will require surgery during last weekend's 2-1 home defeat to Preston.

Caretaker manager Peter Shirtliff is sweating on the fitness of David Healy in attack, with the experienced striker facing a late fitness test on a thigh strain.

Bury issued a statement on their ongoing managerial vacancy this week stating Shirtliff is still in contention for the full-time role.

A positive result at Bramall Lane would go some way to proving his credentials, along with easing the Shakers' uncomfortable position near the foot of the League One table having taken two points from five matches so far this term.
