Swansea lost 3-0 to Fulham at the Liberty Stadium on the final day of the Premier League season.
Martin Jol was delighted with Fulham's performance, saying: "The first half we were disciplined and in the end it was an ugly win. "We have 43 points to end the season and the only difference between us and Swansea was that they beat us in the home fixture. "It's a fantastic day for us and the club and now we have to plan for next season." Swansea manager Michael Laudrup says that the defeat was not the way he wanted the season to end but overall he has been pleased with his players. Laudrup commented: "It's not the finish I wanted. We did OK in the first half and we were good in the second but we just couldn't finish in the final third. "We have to work on goals in the summer and we will try to bring someone in. Our attitude was good but we could and should have scored more goals. "Looking back it's not the first time we have lost like that. We are pleased with lots of parts of the season but we know where we can improve."
