Never, EVER write Wigan off!! Lovely play from Maloney (again) as he jinks to the byline and finds McManaman, who sidefoots home from five yards. Incredible.

  33. 55

James McArthur is set to come on for Wigan. They certainly need something to get them going again as its West Brom who look the most likely scorers at present.

  34. 53

Roberto Martinez will be frustrated, after getting themselves back into the game Wigan have gifted their opponents another goal, it was really sloppy defending. Not that West Brom care, they are striding forward looking for more.

  58. 26

A fleeting bit of action as Kone gets in behind the defence, cuts back, and plays in a cross that is just too high for McManaman, who can only glance a header wide.

  59. 24

That's the polite way of saying it isn't a very exciting game - plenty of time to go though!

  60. 23

Both teams playing neat and tidy football but with no real end product so far.

  61. 21

Ronnie Stam does well down the right but sees his cross well cleared by Jonas Olsson.

  76. 04

'There's only one Dean Saunders' rings around the Hawthorns, in a cheeky dig at Black Country rivals Wolves, who have just dropped into League One. No love lost between those two sets of fans!

  79. 01

    We are underway.....

  80. Former Baggie Paul Scharner gets a warm reception from the home supporters on his return to the Hawthorns, that may change if he scores of course...

  81. The referee this afternoon is Lee Probert.

  82. Here come the two teams onto the field.....

  83. 'Believe' reads a banner unfurled in the Wigan end, it's certainly now or never for the Latics. Not long to kick off now.....

  84. West Brom are a big price to add to their best ever tally in a Premier League season as Wigan go to the Hawthorns with their top-tier status at stake. The Latics are 4/11 to be relegated and anything less than a win will see those odds shorten further, but the Baggies may take their foot off the gas.... With a six-point cushion over Swansea behind them and the same amount to make up in order to catch seventh-placed Liverpool, West Brom could be forgiven for assuming that seventh-place is sealed. With 48 points on the board, this is already their most successful season in the Premier League and the visitors are hoping to avoid a third straight away defeat. The Latics, however, are dangerous from set-pieces and have scored a higher proportion of their goals from corners than any side in the division. Thus, backing the big men in the goalscorers market makes sense, with Emerson Boyce, Gary Caldwell and Paul Scharner each 12/1 to score in 90 minutes.

  85. Preview from our friends at Skybet coming up......

  86. Just 7% of West Brom's goals this season (three of 46) have come in the opening 15 minutes; a league-low proportion.

  87. After a run of one defeat in six away league games, Wigan have lost their last two in a row without troubling the scorers.

  88. Always assuming three points for a win, the last time the Baggies had more than 48 points after 34 games of a top-flight season was back in 1980/81 (59).

  89. Steve Clarke's side have already won more points this season (48) than they have ever managed before in a Premier League campaign.

  90. Here are few stats about the two teams ahead of today's game.....

  91. So, what do you think of those teams and your hopes for today Baggies and Latics fans? Let me know your thoughts via email Tom.Mallows@bskyb.com or Tweet me @Tom_Mallows.

  92. Ronnie Stam is recalled to the Wigan team in place of Maynor Figueroa, who will miss the rest of the season with a groin injury. Ben Watson returns to the starting XI for the first time since November in place of James McArthur.

  93. West Brom boss Steve Clarke makes three changes from the side that beat Southampton 3-0 last weekend. Markus Rosenberg is handed only his third Premier League start replacing the suspended Marc-Antoine Fortune. Youssouf Mulumbu is straight back into the side after completing a ban of his own, James Morrison makes way. Billy Jones also comes into the starting XI in place of the injured Steven Reid.

  94. WBA subs: Myhill, Tamas, Dawson, Morrison, Odemwingie, Brown, Thomas

  95. WBA: Foster, Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell, Yacob, Dorrans, Mulumbu, Long, Rosenberg, Lukaku

  96. Wigan subs: Al Habsi, Caldwell, Di Santo, Henriquez, McArthur, Espinoza, Golobart

  97. Wigan: Robles, Kone, McCarthy, Watson, Maloney, Gomez, McManaman, Boyce, Beausejour, Stam, Scharner

  98. The teams are in........

  99. Life is a lot calmer for Baggies boss Steve Clarke, with the club set to record their highest Premier League finish. Not that he will allow any of his players to take their foot of the gas in their remaining games.

  100. The objective is relatively simple for the Latics this afternoon. With five points separating themselves and the three sides directly above them, anything but a win will leave their top flight status hanging by a thread.

  101. Hello and welcome to our coverage of the Premier League encounter at the Hawthorns, it's West Brom taking on relegation threatened Wigan.
