West Ham's relentless pressures eventually pays off with an added-time leveller to deny Sunderland their first win of the season.
NOLAN EQUALISES FOR WEST HAM!
West Ham defender Reid goes in the book after giving the ball to Vaughan and pulling back the Sunderland midfielder.
Cole's day is done, with Maiga thrown on in the West Ham striker's place.
Much to Sessegnon's surprise, he is replaced by Campbell as Sunderland successfully defend another corner.
After Cole heads another chance over, Sunderland send on Vaughan for Larsson in an attempt to solidify the midfield.
Jarvis draws a foul from Gardner, who is booked.
Allardyce has seen enough and sends on both Jarvis and Benayoun, with Vaz Te and Taylor making way.
Gabriel Sutton has been back in touch, and he's happy with his pre-match prediction: 'Remind me, what was Fletcher's transfer fee again? Great half for Sunderland, think my prediction is on track and wouldn't bet against Fletcher grabbing another one to establish himself as a favorite with the fans. Sticking 0-2!'
Any thoughts, Hammers and Black Cats? Or anyone else, for that matter? Having seen Fletcher's goal again, it really is a touch of class from the big-money buy. He shows intelligent movement to pull on to the shoulder of Collins, a deft first touch and an unstoppable finish. Four goals in two-and-a-half games - worth every penny so far...
An exciting first-half comes to a close, with two moments of quality standing out: Fletcher's goal being one; Mignolet's save from Nolan just before the break the other.
FLETCHER SCORES FOR SUNDERLAND!
Gabriel Sutton fancies a 2-0 away win, and justifies his prediction as follows: 'Steven Fletcher is now banging the goals in for Sunderland. If he scores again today, everyone will forget about his price tag. O'Neill can definitely get the best out of him. If West Ham were playing a better team than Norwich last week, they would probably have lost and Sunderland look capable of scoring goals.' I had already forgotten about his price tag, until you just reminded me, Gabriel...
Peter Ekers is not a happy man: 'As a tormented West Ham fan, I am dismayed to see Cole STARTING up front. It's depressing enough when he comes on for the last twenty minutes. Surely a sack of spuds (King Edwards on any other leading brand would do) would do just as well and only cost a couple of quid?' I shall resist offering some Cole/spuds comparisons...
You can bet in-play with our friends at Sky Bet, who are offering 13/2 on Sunderland's Steven Fletcher opening the scoring. Fletcher is the Black Cats' only scorer in the Premier League so far this season, with three goals in two games for his new club. West Ham's top scorer, Kevin Nolan, is 7/1 to score first.
Marcus from Leamington Spa reckons Sunderland's unbeaten run will continue, with the Black Cats claiming their first victory of the season - 2-0 the score. Dave Frater, though, fancies a 2-1 home win.
