  1. The final whistle goes and Fulham run out deserved 3-0 winners. West Brom fought hard in the second period but the damage was done in the first half when Berbatov scored twice and Odemwingie was sent off.

  2. 90+1

Duff is given a tremendous ovation as he goes off to be replaced by youngster Smith for the final couple of minutes.

  3. 90

Mulumbu's shot from the edge of the area takes a deflection and goes behind for a corner.

  4. 89

GOAL Sidwell puts the icing on the cake for Fulham with a volley from close range after Foster had saved from Kasami and the ball looped up for Rodallega to head against the crossbar.

  5. 87

Foster parries away a ferocious long-range strike from Rodallega and Kasami drags the rebound wide from a tight angle.

  6. 86

Jones is presented with perhaps West Brom's best chance of the afternoon as he latches on to a free-kick at the back post, but he cannot connect powerfully with his shot and Schwarzer makes a solid stop.

  7. 84

Fulham manager Jol makes his first change, bringing on Kasami for Kacaniklic for the closing stages.

  8. 83

Riether goes down in the area under pressure from Brunt but the referee waves play on and West Brom's players are not happy with the Fulham full-back as they think he dived.

  9. 81

Berbatov is denied by a smart stop from Foster after being picked out by a clever pass from Baird.

  10. 80

Fulham are making West Brom chase shadows with a period of sustained possession, and their fans are loving the way the Baggies are being toyed with.

  11. 78

Rodallega has not quite got his radar right today despite plenty of hard work, as he smashes a volley high and wide after setting himself up well with a skilful first touch.

  12. 76

West Brom make their third and final change, replacing Yacob with another summer signing in Rosenberg.

  13. 75

The ten men of West Brom are having to work hard to repel Fulham and they are beginning to look tired, with the home team applying some serious pressure.

  14. 74

Foster is at the centre of the action at the moment as he dives to his left to palm away another deflected shot, this time from Rodallega after a fine run from Duff.

  15. 72

This is an even better save from Foster and it is instinctive stuff as he somehow reacts to Duff's long-range shot taking a wicked deflection to throw up his left hand and turn the ball over the bar.

  16. 70

Foster pulls off a decent stop from Sidwell's swerving 25-yard strike before quickly getting up to gather the rebound before Duff can pounce.

  17. 69

West Brom are beginning to commit a few men forward in an effort to find a way back into this game, and Lukaku is proving to be a handful as he wins a corner.

  18. 67

Lukaku has a shot from inside the area half-blocked by a couple of defenders, taking the pace off the ball and allowing Schwarzer to make a comfortable save.

  19. 65

Fulham have been restricted to long shots from distance in the second half and Duff's effort here is deflected wide for a corner.

  20. 63

Brunt takes the corner himself and drills it low, nearly taking Schwarzer by surprise as it canons into the outside of the post.

  21. 62

Schwarzer is called into action here, as he takes no chances from Brunt's long range strike and tips the ball over his crossbar for a corner.

  22. 61

West Brom are showing plenty of determination in an attempt to get back into the match, but at the moment they are not really threatening Schwarzer's goal.

  23. 59

Ridgewell tries to set Lukaku free with a long pass all the way from left-back, but it is too heavy and the striker would have been offside anyway.

  24. 57

Berbatov takes aim with a powerful shot from 25 yards in an effort to complete his hat-trick, but is unable to keep it down and the ball flies into the stands.

  25. 55

Lukaku nearly gets presented with a chance on the counter-attack but Riether is alert to the danger and covers back to get the ball clear.

  26. 54

McAuley feels the full force of a Riise piledriver with a brave block outside the area, but shows no signs of pain as he gets back to his feet.

  27. 52

Rodallega sees a block shocked after being picked out by Kacaniklic, but he is coming back from an offside position and the flag goes up.

  28. 50

Another injury scare, this time for West Brom, as Yacob stays down following a tackle on Rodallega. The physio comes on to administer treatment and he will be able to play on.

  29. 49

Berbatov hobbles over to the touchline to receive treatment following a strong challenge from Brunt, but it looks like he will be fine to continue as the cold spray is applied to his ankle.

  30. 48

Rodallega's effort from 20 yards crashes into the shins of Yacob, as Fulham pin West Brom back in their own half at the start of the second period.

  31. 47

Berbatov brings down Riether's long ball expertly before being brought down himself in midfield to win a free-kick.

  32. 46

West Brom kick us off in the second half and they have made a double change at the break, bringing on-loan Chelsea striker Lukaku and Brunt on for Fortune and Long.

  33. The half-time whistle goes and Fulham are firmly in control as they lead 2-0 against ten men. Berbatov has been the star with both goals, while West Brom have completely unravelled in the past 15 minutes or so.

  34. 45+1

GOAL Berbatov steps up and sends Foster the wrong way, with the goalkeeper diving to his right and the Bulgarian coolly firing his penalty into the open expanse of goal.

  35. 45

PENALTYJones may have done well in attack but he is found wanting as he races back to defend and brings down the lively Kacaniklic, and it is an easy decision for the referee to point to the spot.

  36. 44

Jones has probably been West Brom's brightest spark so far and he nearly gets all the way through to goal following a couple of lucky ricochets, but Schwarzer rushes quickly off his line to gather the ball.

  37. 43

West Brom have actually managed to retain possession fairly well since being reduced to ten men but it is early days and Clarke will be looking forward to half-time, when there will be a chance to regroup properly.

  38. 41

Mulumbu tries his luck with an ambitious shot from distance, which is well struck but flies wide of Schwarzer's right-hand post.

  39. 40

Fulham look as if they are sensing a chance to double their lead before the interval, as Berbatov fires wide from 15 yards.

  40. 38

RED CARD Odemwingie is given his marching orders after a rush of blood to the head sees him lose his temper and lash out at Riether with a wild kick from behind. The referee has no choice and brandishes a straight red.

  41. 36

West Brom earn a free-kick in a threatening position and Olsson is presented with a chance following a scramble in the six-yard box, but Hangeland blocks.

  42. 35

Berbatov tries his luck again, this time from outside the box, but West Brom are quicker to close him down and the shot is blocked.

  43. 34

That goal has really lifted the crowd and it is just about deserved as Fulham have slowly taken control as this first half has developed, while West Brom have been good at the back but have not shown enough adventure.

  44. 32

GOAL Berbatov marks his home debut with a fine goal, curling a superb finish into the top corner from just inside the area after good work by Kacaniklic down the left wing.

  45. 30

It has not quite happened for Berbatov yet but he is working hard, yes really, and looks eager to impress as he urges his team-mates to move the ball faster.

  46. 28

Riether shows that he can defend as well as attack as he gets back to dispossess Ridgewell and play the ball calmly back to Schwarzer.

  47. 27

There is some hesitation in the Fulham box following a cross from Jones, before eventually Hangeland and Hughes work together to get the ball away from Long and clear it up the pitch.

  48. 25

It is Olsson with the heroics on this occasion to slide back and cut out another cross from Riether, who has been excellent for Fulham in the opening stages.

  49. 24

Fulham are gradually turning up the heat here but McAuley again does well to intercept Kacaniklic's pass.

  50. 22

There are appeals for a penalty, from the crowd at least, as Rodallega goes down in the area under pressure from Olsson, but the West Brom defender emerges with the ball and first impressions are that was a good tackle rather than a foul.

  51. 21

The ball drops to Berbatov in the box and he demonstrates good technique on his volley, but Yacob blocks the shot.

  52. 20

Riether is invited forward by a clever pass and he takes full advantage to send over a delightful cross, which McAuley brilliantly clears behind.

  53. 18

Kacaniklic darts forward in menacing style but his cross is blocked by McAuley. Berbatov then shows great awareness to pick out the Fulham winger for a second time, but his jinking run is thwarted by a sea of bodies.

  54. 16

Duff steps up to swing over the set-piece but his touch is too heavy and flies over the heads of everyone in the box to drift harmlessly out for a goal-kick.

  55. 15

Now it is Fulham's turn to play keep-ball, before Ridgewell brings down Duff to concede a free-kick in a decent area out wide.

  56. 13

West Brom enjoy a sustained period of passing and work the ball well to release Jones down the right, but there are not enough team-mates in the centre to take advantage of a teasing delivery.

  57. 12

The game has settled down after that bright start for Fulham and is now more even, with both teams looking organised at the back and patient in possession.

  58. 10

Morrison, who this week signed a new deal at West Brom, lets fly with a powerful effort from 25 yards which appears destined for the top corner before being clawed away by an acrobatic save from Schwarzer.

  59. 8

Fulham have hit it long a couple of times in an attempt to pick out Rodallega, but Olsson is good in the air and heads the ball away to safety for a second time.

  60. 6

West Brom finally get hold of the ball and carve out a chance following some good play by Yacob, but it is a routine save for Schwarzer from Odemwingie's low 20-yard strike.

  61. 5

Baird wriggles away from his marker in midfield and plays the ball forward for Berbatov, whose control for once lets him down and allows West Brom to clear.

  62. 4

The hosts are completely dominating possession in the first few minutes and West Brom, who have retreated deep into their own territory, have barely had a touch of the ball yet.

  63. 3

Berbatov nearly makes the perfect start but he is unable to get enough contact on Riether's dangerous cross as he slides in with Olsson.

  64. 2

The pitch is bathed in sunshine as Fulham look to get on the front foot early on, with Riise getting forward well from the back.

  65. 1

There is no handshake drama in this corner of London and the match is underway, with Fulham kicking us off and all eyes on home debutant Berbatov.

  66. Fulham: Schwarzer, Riether, Hughes, Hangeland, Riise, Duff, Sidwell, Baird, Kacaniklic, Berbatov, Rodallega. Subs: Stockdale, Kelly, Kasami, Karagounis, Briggs, Trotta, Smith.

  67. West Brom: Foster, Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell, Mulumbu, Yacob, Odemwingie, Morrison, Fortune, Long. Subs: Myhill, Rosenberg, Brunt, Dorrans, Lukaku, Gera, Dawson.

  68. Dimitar Berbatov has been handed a first start for Fulham after joining from Manchester United, replacing Mladen Petric alongside Hugo Rodallega. Alex Kacaniklic and Chris Baird also start in place of the injured Kieran Richardson and Mahamadou Diarra while new signing Giorgos Karagounis is named on the bench. There are two changes to the West Brom team, with Peter Odemwingie coming in for Graham Dorrans and Billy Jones replacing the injured Steven Reid.
