1. Full-time. The referee blows the final whistle and it's all over. A big win for Real Madrid - 5-2 on the night makes it 8-2 on aggregrate - but APOEL can leave the competition well proud of their efforts and have two goals to show for it this evening.

    That's a corner to APOEL! This will surely be their best chance... and Charalambides slips as he takes it and the ball skews out for a goal-kick. That just about sums it up for the visitors.

    Goal! Ronaldo scores! It didn't take long for him to make up for that miss. Marcelo has looked dangerous since the kick-off and his cross was missed by Higuain only for Ronaldo to tap it home at the far post.
