Arouna Kone: On the mark for Levante in the 3-1 win over Real Betis
Levante moved back into the Primera Liga top four with a 3-1 victory over Real Betis on Monday.
The hosts took the lead at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia when Jose Barkero's free-kick in the 34th minute curled in to beat Real Betis goalkeeper Fabricio at his near post.
Levante doubled their advantage eight minutes later when Xavi Torres headed home past Fabricio.
Betis reduced the arrears a minute before the break when Jorge Molina capitalised on a defensive slip-up to slot the ball past Gustavo Munua.
Levante restored their two-goal cushion six minutes after the break when Arouna Kone found the net with a clinical finish.
The win moved Levante back into the UEFA Champions League places above Athletic Bilabo.
