Marseille's hopes of securing a UEFA Champions League place for next season took another blow after a 2-0 defeat at Evian.
Les Roses condemned the former champion to a third straight league defeat without scoring a goal at the Parc des Sports.
Veteran midfielder Jerome Leroy scored both Evian's goals in the first half, as eighth-place Marseille fell eight points behind third-place Lille.
Didier Deschamps side have not won a game since their 1-0 victory against Inter Milan in the first leg of their last-16 Champions League match a fortnight ago.
That win extended Marseille's unbeaten run to 16 games, but L'OM then lost 1-0 away to Brest before losing by the same scoreline at home to Toulouse last weekend.
Marseille have little time to regroup with a league game at Ajaccio coming up on Friday, followed by the return leg against Inter at Giuseppe Meazza four days later.
Evian climbed up to 10th spot in Ligue 1 with the win, which moved them onto 33 points from 26 games.
