  1. FT

But that's it! Bolton manage to put their Premier League struggles aside and are through to the FA Cup quarter-finals. Unfortunately for Millwall their cup run comes to an end for this season, but they can take heart from their performance this afternoon. Well, I hope you've enjoyed it. I'm Ryan Gordon wishing you a wonderful rest of your weekend. Cheers all!

  2. 90+3

Samuel Ricketts has been one of Bolton's stand-out players this afternoon and has marshalled the back four brilliantly. He's again called into action and shows plenty of pace to get back and cut out a potential counter-attack.

  3. 90+2

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett looks pretty despondent down on the touch line. He knows his side were probably worth at least a goal today, but it looks like they'll be finishing this afternoon empty handed.

  4. 90

The fourth official raises his board and shows we will have three minutes of injury-time added on at the end.

  5. 88

Josh Wirhgt picks up the ball in the final third and sets off on a powerful run to the by-line, but his cross is straight at the goalkeeper who smothers the danger.

  6. 87

Another change for the visitors as Darren Pratley comes on for Mark Davies.

  7. 86

A lot of the home fans have seen enough here and are already filing out of the stadium. The scoreline doesn't accurately describe the flow of the game, but the hosts have been made to pay for their lack of threat in front of goal.

  8. 85

Could have easily been 3-0 now as Bolton break down the right before the play is brought back in field to Ream, who has the option to feed the on-rushing Chris Eagles, but the midfielder opts to go for glory but gets none as he completely fluffs his shot which the goalkeeper gathers.

  9. 83

Just seven minutes of normal time remaining, but it'll take something special from the hosts to rescue this one.

  10. 82

Nigerl Reo-Coker thinks he's through on goal, but the linesman's flag had correctly been raised for off-side.

  11. 81

Just before that Bolton made a change of their own, Ryo Miyaichi coming off for Chris Eagles.

  12. 80

Third and final roll of the dice for the Lions now as James Henry comes on for Harry Kane.

  13. 79

Millwall have done really well to completely dominate possession the last few minutes, but the ball remains camped out in the wrong half of the field.

  14. 77

Plenty of possession on the edge of the Bolton area for the home side at the moment, and they almost sneak one back as Keogh storms in at the far-post with the intention of prodding home a cross from out wide, but the striker just can't manage to get a toe on the ball and the chance goes begging.

  15. 75

Not much in the way of goal-mouth action in the last few minutes as the play is becoming increasingly bogged down in the middle of the park.

  16. 73

The heavens have just opened here at The Den and the rain is coming down in sheets. The pitch wasn't in such great condition to start with, and this heavy downpour is likely to cause even more problems for the 22 out there.

  17. 72

Another change for Millwall now as Liam Feeney is replaced by Hamer Bouazza.

  18. 71

Credit to Millwall who continue to push on at full pace. They're starting to leave holes at the back though and are becoming increasingly open to the counter attack.

  19. 69

Trotter has a go at goal from the edge of the area, but his powerful drive is straight at the goalkeeper who gratefully hangs on to the danger.

  20. 67

The resulting free-kick is taken by Samuel Ricketts, but the less said about the delivery the better as his ball barely left the ground before being cleared by the first man.

  21. 66

The referee has his card out again, and this time's it's Millwall's Alan Dunne who goes into the book for a rash tackle from behind on Miyaichi.

  22. 63

This game will still very much up for grabs at 1-0, but Bolton's second appears to have knocked the stuffing out of the visitors. Tough to see a way back for them now, considering their struggles in front of goal over the duration of this match.

  23. 61

A booking for Mark Davies now for a dangerous challenge on Liam Trotter. It looked a painful one, but the midfielder is okay to carry on.

  24. 60

It only takes a second to score a goal, and David Ngog just proved that. A weak clearance only reaches the half way line where Tuncay is able play the ball forward to Ngog, and the striker turned on the edge of the area before hammering a loan drive in off the goalkeeper.

  25. 59

    GOAL! Millwall 0-2 Bolton! Ngog!

  26. 58

Reo-Coker looks to feed David Ngog through on goal, but the midfielder's pass is just behind the striker, forcing him to check his run. A Millwall defender bundles into the back of the Trotters man in an apparent foul, but the referee waves play on.

  27. 57

First change of the game as Millwall take Jack Smith off for Josh Wright.

  28. 56

Some brilliant stuff from Nigel Reo-Coker sets Bolton on their way, but they can't find any way through a well organised Millwall defence, and Ngog eventually concedes a foul on the edge of the area.

  29. 54

A couple of mis-placed passes from both sides now as the ball bobbles around in the middle of the park. Barron tries his luck from range but he gets his effort all wrong.

  30. 52

Bolton have lost some of the spring in their step and are struggling to get a foot on the ball.

  31. 50

The Lions have picked up in the second half where they left off in the first and are asking plenty of questions of the Bolton defence. The visitors are passing the test just at the moment though, but they're bound to be in for a busy 45 minutes.

  32. 49

Corner to Millwall early on in the second-half. The delivery is a good one, but Reid can't get enough connection on his header and the ball zips out for a goal-kick.

  33. 48

Almost forgot to mention that both Nigel Reo-Coker and Liam Feeney were booked during the first-half.

  34. 47

Bolton have started the half brightly and Ryu Miyaichi shows some good strength down the wing before teeing up the ball to be crossed into the area, but Ngog is caught in an off-side position.

  35. 46

Millwall get the ball rolling for the second-half!

  36. HT

There goes the whistle and the players head down the tunnel for half-time. Join me after the break for the second period of this FA Cup fifth round encounter.

  37. 45

The fourth official shows we will have just one minute of added time at the end of the half. Credit to Kevin Friend who has really allowed this game to flow.

  38. 44

Owen Coyle is sure to be happy to get to the break with a one-goal lead, although something tells me he's been none too impressed with the performance from his side this afternoon. Millwall have matched their Premier League opposition stride for stride today, and if they keep this performance up in the second period I imagine a 1-0 lead will not be enough.

  39. 43

No rush from Bolton in the closing stages of the first-half, and they play the ball all the way back to Bogdan from the half-way line, and the goalkeeper is in no hurry to get the play back up field.

  40. 42

The Lions have been knocking on the door for some time now, but they are still to truly test Adam Bogdan, whose almost-fluorescent pink kit has been quite muddied over the course of the half.

  41. 40

A very poor piece of goalkeeper from Mildenhall almost allows the visitors the chance to grab an equaliser, but some fortunate defending helped the shot stopper to reclaim possession with Ngog sniffing around for a loose ball.

  42. 39

Brilliant build-up from Millwall ends with Feeney firing a really dangerous ball into the area, but no one in a dark shirt can get on the end of the delivery, although they winner another corner from he left. The delivery is lacking in accuracy though and the ball is eventually chested down for Bogdan to gather.

  43. 37

Some good pressure from Henderson forces a corner out of Steinsson. The ball is whipped into the back post, but the ball flicks up off a crowd of bodies, allowing the Trotters defence to clear up field.

  44. 35

Henderson manages to break the off-side trap, but he has to chase a pass out wide before rolling the ball back for Barron to whip into the area, but a slip from Henderson allows the Bolton defence to nip in and tidy up.

  45. 34

The Lions threaten on the counter attack through Keogh, who looks to feed the ball through to Henderson, but there's too much pace on the pass and Bogdan is able to gather.

  46. 32

A long ball up field puts Bolton in a good position, but Ryu Miyaichi's attempted through ball is to no one in particular and the goalkeeper scoops up the loose ball.

  47. 30

Lowry is down in a heap after colliding with David Ngog. Replays show there was very little contact, resulting in a very bemused look plastered across the Bolton striker's face as the referee blows up for a foul.

  48. 29

Patient build up from Bolton now who spread the ball from left to right and back again, but they soon lose possession due to some sloppy passing in the middle of the park.

  49. 26

The hosts are refusing to let the magnitude of the occassion get to them and are playing some truly inspired football. However, it's in the final third where they are lacking, and Keogh highlights that point by smacking his cross from out wide straight behind for a goal-kick.

  50. 24

There's a really good tempo about Millwall at the moment and they're working hard to make the space in the right areas. They win a corner here now following more sustained pressure, and they almost pounce as Bogdan fumbles his initial catch, but the goalkeeper is quick to react and eventually hangs on to the ball.

  51. 22

Mildenhall has quite a boot on him in the Millwall goal, and his most recent kick manages to clear every player before bouncing out for a goal-kick for Bolton.

  52. 20

Snap shot from Henderson now gets the crowd on their feet, but the effort is a bit tame and Bogdan easily smothers the danger.

  53. 19

A mistake at the back almost allows Millwall to pounce on the edge of the area, but the ball breaks kindly for Wheater who is able to sweep in and clean up at the loose ball.

  54. 18

Ryu Miyaichi goes for the spectacular with a 25-yard shot at goal, but he can't keep his head down and the ball sails well wide of the mark.

  55. 16

It's Millwall who are playing like the side in the lead, and Bolton struggling to hold on to the ball. In a second though Owen Coyle's men are on the attack and David Ngog plays Frabice Muamba in behind the defence, but the midfielder got his shot all wrong and blazes well over from close range.

  56. 14

Plenty of possession and some neat passing from the home side just at the moment, and they've won a corner which is played short before being lumped towards the far post. There's not enough on the ball to find the waiting Keogh though and the chance is lost.

  57. 12

Millwall threaten now through Liam Trotter who plays a lovely one-two before thrashing his volley goalwards, but the Bolton defence manage to get a block in, and the resulting corner is easily dealt with.

  58. 10

Tuncay Sanli test Steve Mildenhall with a stinging close range effort, but the goalkeeper is equal ot the challenge and is able to parry the ball away.

  59. 9

Sarcastic cheers from the home fans now as Adam Bogdan, sporting the brightest pink keeper strip you have ever seen, thumps his goal-kick straight out of play at the half-way line.

  60. 7

Bolton are almost through again as David Ngog looked to slide Nigel Reo-Coker through on goal, but the Millwall defence just managed to get across to clear the ball to safety.

  61. 6

The goal doesn't seem to have rocked the Lions too hard, and they look enterprising when going forward. The Bolton back-four look up for this one though and are currently one step ahead of the play.

  62. 4

How's that for a start! There minutes in and Bolton have the lead, and it's 19-year-old Japanese sensation Ryu Miyaichi who gets the goal, breaking into the box from out wide before bending his shot over the goalkeeper and into the back of the net. Not a bad way to mark your full debut.

  63. 3

    GOAL! Millwall 0-1 Bolton! Miyaichi!

  64. 2

Not much of anything has happened in the opening minute, with the ball spending more time out of touch than in play.

  65. 1

    And we're off!

  66. We're just under 10 minutes away from the kick-off now and the players are lining up in the tunnel, with referee Kevin Friend preparing to lead the two sides out onto the pitch.

  67. Bolton, meanwhile, opt to stick with Adam Bogdan between the sticks, meaning Jussi Jaaskelainen is on the bench. There is no place for the injured Kevin Davies, with David Ngog partnering on-loan Arsenal striker Ryo Miyaichi up front.

  68. Let's digest those teams then, starting with Millwall. January arrival Andy Keogh retains his place up front alongside Darius Henderson following the pair's battling performances in the 2-2 draw against Brighton on Tuesday. Fellow new signing Josh Wright will have to be content with a place on the bench, despite impressing as a substitute in midweek.

  69. Millwall: Mildenhall, Dunne, Robinson, Lowry, Barron, Feeney, Trotter, Smith, Kane, Henderson, Keogh Subs: Forde, Craig, Bouazza, Henry, N'Guessan, Mason, Wright

  70. Bolton: Bogdan, Steinsson, Wheater, Ream, Ricketts, Mark Davies, Muamba, Reo-Coker, Sanli, Ngog, Miyaichi Subs: Jaaskelainen, Robinson, Eagles, Knight, Klasnic, Pratley, Boyata

  71. The teams are in...

  72. Care to make it a little more interesting? Well our friends at Sky Bet have put Bolton at 17/10 to claim the win today, while Championship outfit Millwall are 6/4 to shock their Premier League opponents.

  73. Millwall, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last three games in all competitions and booked their place in round five with a 3-2 victory over Championship high flyers Southampton, while the home support could also play a big role in today's outcome.

  74. The Trotters may sit 21 league positions above today's opponents, but they have not won a football match since the fourth round victory over Swansea at the end of January, leaving Wanderers knee-deep in the Premier League relegation zone.

  75. So, a place in the quarter-finals is up for grabs today, although the Trotters' progress to the next round is far from guaranteed and Owen Coyle's men are facing a potential banana skin when they travel to The Den.

  76. Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, I'm Ryan Gordon and I'll be taking you through all the action as Bolton travel to Millwall for the FA Cup fifth round tie.
