  1. Morocco end their failed AFCON campaign with three points at Niger's expense. That's it from me, good night!

  2. 90+3

Morocco's Nordin Amrabat replaces Belhanda, who has been the best player on the park for me tonight.

  3. 90

Chamakh plays a neat one-two with the influential Belhanda but opts to find his teammate again instead of taking a shot on goal inside the box. There will be four minutes of added time.

  4. 88

Mustapha Mrani wastes a glorious chance as the unmarked Morocco centre-back heads over following a free-kick in from the left.

  5. 85

Niger keeper Daouda makes an impressive stop to foil Boussoufa's powerful effort on the run following a Morocco breakaway.

  6. 82

Niger's Kamilou Daouda replaces Yacouba Ali.

  7. 79

Niger's Chikoto Mohamed is booked for protesting the goal.

  8. 78

Morocco goal! Belhanda fires first-time into the roof of the net after being put through by Chamakh with question marks over whether the latter was initially off-side.

  9. 75

Carcela pulls the trigger inside the box but the Morocco sub is correctly blown up for using his arm in controlling a cross from the left by the energetic Boussoufa. Regardless, Daouda was equal to Carcela's effort.

  10. 70

Daouda shows a safe pair of hands to collect Boussoufa's floated cross from the left. The Niger keeper has impressed tonight when called into action.

  11. 65

Morocco's Mehdi Carcela replaces Hadji just before Belhanda squeezes a shot wide of the target on the run.

  12. 62

    Niger's Alhassane Issoufou replaces N'Gounou.

  13. 58

Niger keeper Daouda does brilliantly to thwart Mbark Boussoufa in a one-on-one situation following a superb run and through ball by Belhanda!

  14. 53

Niger's Issiaka Koudize is booked for a robust tackle on Hermach.

  15. 48

Abdoul-Karim Lancina tests Amsif with a venomous free-kick as the Morocco keeper dives smartly to beat the ball away.

  16. 47

Morocco's Mustapha Mrani is booked for a studs-up challenge on William N'Gounou.

  17. 46

    We are back underway.

  18. It's goalless at the break, join us in 15 minutes for the second instalment.

  19. 45

There will be one minute of added time.

  20. 42

Morocco's Hermach makes his presence felt early on, albeit via a caution for entering the field of play prematurely.

  21. 41

Morocco's Adil Hermach replaces the injured Kharja. It looks like he may have hurt his ankle.

  22. 37

Maazou rattles the cross bar with a powerful volley from just inside the area after taking one touch on his thigh to control a diagonal pass! So close there for the Niger marksman who took aim from a challenging angle.

  23. 35

Chances at both ends now as Daouda does superbly to deny El Kaddouri in a one-on-one situation, while Boubacar Issoufou earlier forced Mohamed Amsif into action with a bouncing long range shot. The Orlando Pirates attacker didn't really get hold of his effort but it was on target.

  24. 30

At the other end, Mohamed Soumaila finds Yacouba Ali with a probing pass down the left flank but the latter miscontrols and the ball strikes his hand, with the ref alert to the transgression. Morocco were stretched there for a second.

  25. 25

Maazou, with two markers snapping on his heels, gives away possession in a dangerous area but a fortuitous deflection sees a cross land safely in the hands of Niger goalkeeper Kassaly Daouda.

  26. 20

Morocco's Younes Belhanda turns with intent before curling a left-footed shot narrowly over the cross bar. Decent effort that. Chamakh seems to be in a spot of bother as he hobbles around with a grimace. He hasn't looked the happiest camper throughout the tournament thinking back. No doubt his lack of game-time in London wouldn't have helped with fitness.

  27. 15

Karim El Ahmadi delights the crowd with a cheeky back-heel as Morocco continue to dominate affairs here. One suspects a goal won't be too long in coming for the north Africans.

  28. 11

Morocco are bossing possession early on here as Niger chase shadows. Chamakh is proving an elusive runner and courts a rash challenge from Abdoul-Karim Lancina, who goes in through the back of the Arsenal hitman. The ref has a word. Shortly after, Ouwo Moussa Maazou nearly gets away on a rare Niger foray but Jamal Alioui slides in superbly to deny the exciting attacker.

  29. 5

Morocco skipper Houssine Kharja balloons his effort over from just inside the area after being teed up by the alert Marouane Chamakh. Decent chance that, Kharja should have at least hit the target.

  30. 1

We are underway with Niger playing in white and Morocco in red.

  31. If you fancy taking a wager, Niger are 6/1 to emerge victorious with our friends at Sky Bet.

  32. Morocco team: Mohamed Amsif 12, Jamal Alioui 16, Abdelfettah Boukhriss 15, Mustapha Mrani 18, Badr El Kaddouri 3, Younes Belhanda 10, Houssine Kharja 13, Karim El Ahmadi 8, Mbark Boussoufa 14, Youssouf Hadji 20, Marouane Chamakh 17.

  33. Niger team: 16 Kassaly Daouda, 5 Jimmy Bulus, 18 K Dan Kowa, 13 Chikoto Mohamed, 23 Mohamed Soumaila, 8 Olivier Harouna Bonnes, 3 Abdoul-Karim Lancina, 17 William N'Gounou, 21 Yacouba Ali, 14 Boubacar Issoufou, 2 Ouwo Moussa Maazou.

  34. The Atlas Lions, African champs in 1976, were beaten 3-2 by Gabon and 2-1 by Tunisia.

  35. Niger, affectionately known as Mena, were edged 2-1 by Tunisia and 2-0 by the tournament co-hosts in their opener.

  36. The pair, who both lost their opening two games, have been eliminated from the continental showpiece, with Group C winners Gabon and Tunisia progressing to the quarter-finals at their expense.

  37. Good evening and welcome to live coverage of Niger and Morocco's final contribution to AFCON 2012.
