Tunisia: Targeting another win
Tunisia will be setting their sights on a second straight win when they take on Niger in the second round of Group C matches on Friday.
The Carthage Eagles began their Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a last-gasp 2-1 victory over North African rivals Morocco, leaving Samir Trabelsi's men well placed to progress to the quarter-finals
Niger, meanwhile, find themselves in desperate need of points after slumping to a 2-0 defeat against co-hosts Gabon in their opener earlier this week, with another loss almost certain to secure the minnows' ejection from the tournament.
In team news, Tunisia coach Trabelsi is likely to stick with the same back four that proved so troublesome for Morocco, meaning full-backs Khalil Chammam and Anis Boussaidi will have to wait for their chance.
Saber Khlifa is out with an injury, meaning Amine Chermiti could start up front, while Youssef Msakni is also expected to start at the expense of Sami Allagui.
Meanwhile, Niger are without Moutari Amadou, who broke his leg during the defeat to the Panthers and has already left Gabon to undergo an operation in France.
Moussa Maazou is suffering an ankle sprain and will be handed a late fitness test.
