   Germany certainly seem the most likely opponent for Greece and that presents an extremely tough challenge, but if they show the grit and determination they did tonight then who knows, we all saw what they did in 2004 against the odds.

   What a sensational result for Greece and they are ecstatic. Russia can only blame themselves for not doing enough to ensure they went through and have had spells in each of their three games where haven't seemed so interested. Greece qualify along with Czech Republic following their 1-0 victory over Poland in an exciting end to Group A. What is your reaction to how this evening unfolded?    That's it! It's all over and Greece have unbelievably upset the odds to beat Russia and progress to the quarter finals. Resolute defending and sheer passion has seen them overcome a Russia side who constantly threatened, but always lacked that something special in the final third.

   Holebas recieves a yellow card. He will miss the quarter final which Greece will surely play in now.

   Pogreyak sees his powerfully struck shot saved well by Sifakis, but the referee had blown his whislte, noting the striker's handball in the build up and shows him a yellow card.

   Zhirkov comes forward with pace on the left and whips in a dangerous cross. Berezutski tries to throw himself at it but he makes a foul in the process.

   A couple of feeble attacks from Russia each end up in the grateful hands of Sifakis.

   Some good play by Dzagoev earns Russia their 11th corner of the evening. Can they find something from somewhere in the closing stages. They will have four minutes of added time to do so.

    Russia are deep in the Greek half, but another move comes to a disappointing end. Dzagoev feeds the ball inside to Pogreyak who tries a clever touch into the box but it doe't work out and Greece clear their lines. Russia are back on the attack now thought, and it looks they will be until the final whistle.

    A bit of play acting from Katsouranis causes a bit of a delay in the match, but it could backfire as he has to go off the field, leaving his team mates a man down as we enter the closing minutes.

    Russia go as close as they have been all evening to scoring. Arshavin swings in a super cross for Dzagoev from the right, whose header skims the back post, with Sifakis well beaten.

    Another change for Greece now, with youngster Ninis coming on for Salpigidis.

    Another chance goes begging for Russia as the corner is worked to Pavlyuchenko on the far edge of the box, but his effort goes well over.

    Izmailov looks energetic from the bench as he tries to force his way into the box. He loses possession but Maniatis is unable to stop the ball going out for a corner.

    Final roll of the dice for Russia now as Izmailov comes on for Anyukov. Can they get the equaliser they so badly need?

    The pressure is really on Russia at the moment, but Zhirkov's pass towards Pavlyuchenko on the left wing is cut out.

    Samaras is fouled by Berezutski in the middle of the park, giving Greece an opportunity to waste some time with the free-kick.

    Denisov is too ambitious this time though, with his unsuccessful effort from 30 yards wasting a Russia attack.
