1. So there we have it, a fantastic result for Arsenal who win the group with a game to spare - who would have guessed that when the draw was made back in August? Thanks for joining me for our coverage this evening - sorry I couldn't publish all your feedback, I will try and air your views next time.     Another rapid break from Arsenal as Ramsey feeds Walcott down the right who sends a fizzing effort just over the bar.

    Ivan Perisic tries a free-kick from distance that deflects off the wall for a corner. The corner is swung in towards the far post but the ref gives a free-kick to Arsenal for a push in the box.

    Theo Walcott isn't happy, he has a go at Marcel Schmelzer, who he feels barged him off the ball. The referee isn't impressed though and shows Walcott the yellow card.

    Gervinho does well to get the the byline down the left, but his cross is claimed by Weidenfeller at the near post.

    Gervinho has to score?! No!! Van Persie plays a great ball through, Gervinho is onside but hesistates at the crucial moment and a defender can get back and clear.

29. Twitter update - @Charles_Hayesx and @kwamznumber1 are both predicting a 2-0 Arsenal win, I can't disagree with that prediction at present.

    Moritz Leitner fires a cross-field pass looking for Robert Lewandowski but his shot from a tight angle goes well over.

    The Dortmund fans are chanting 'you only sing when you're winning' to the Arsenal fans. Do you think the Gunners supporters know any German to respond in kind?

    Marcel Schmelzer is booked for a silly challenge on Walcott, he will now miss Dortmund's next game.

    Who else but Robin van Persie?? Credit though has to go to Alex Song, who won the ball in midfield, went on a mazy run down the left, beat three players and then put in a cross to the far post that the Dutchman headed into the bottom corner.

    Shinji Kagawa bursts through the Arsenal defence down the left and his shot from the angle is blocked by Szczesny. Great start to the second half by the visitors.

    Lukasz Piszczek puts in a low cross that takes a deflection and fizzes menacingly across the Arsenal goalmouth. Mertesacker puts it out for a corner that Arsenal clear.

Wenger should play Arshavin; it been a long time he played and I guess I am missing the Russian magician, hoping RvP will work his magic again too."

    Koscielny is appealing for a free-kick near the right side of the penalty area, but referee Frank De Bleeckere says no.

    The game is really warming up now, it is a pity then that half time is imminent!

    Chance for Arsenal! Walcott puts in a great, low, first-time cross towards van Persie at the far post, Weidenfeller stretches to push the ball away but no-one in an Arsenal shirt is there to prod home the rebound.

    Moritz Leitner leads a counter attack for Dortmund but his through pass is well cut out by Laurent Koscielny.

    The ball is in the net - but the flag is up! Van Persie shows great skill to turn and play in Walcott who fires past Weidenfeller, but the England man was just ahead of the last man and the goal is rightly ruled out.

    No-one closes Sebastian Kehl down 35 yards from goal, but his shot slices off his boot and goes well over.

    Mikel Arteta keeps picking the ball up in front of his own back four, deep inside his own half. that's a sign of how difficult Dortmund are making things for Arsenal.

    Really impressed with Dortmund so far, they are pressuring Arsenal all over the field. It is a tough game to call.

    Gervinho takes a heavy touch and lets the ball escape him and out for a goal kick, he has had a quiet game so far.

    Mario Gotze's evening has come to an end, he is replaced by Ivan Perisic. That is a boost for Arsenal, mind you it was Perisic who scored that spectacular equaliser in the first game between the two sides back in September.

    Robert Lewandowski fires an effort just wide from 25 yards, meanwhile Mario Gotze appears to be struggling.

    Moritz Leitner is on for Sven Bender, who leaves the field on a stretcher wearing a neck brace, lets hope is isn't as serious as it looks. The Arsenal fans sportingly applaud him from the field.

    Sven Bender is down for Dortmund, the physio is indicating that he needs to be taken off. I think it may have been an accidential boot in the first, plenty of medical staff on the field at present.

    Best chance for the game for Arsenal as Walcott runs onto Ramsey's pass, but Dortmund 'keeper Weidenfeller does well to come out and block his shot.

73. Arsenal currently head Group F with eight points, so can ensure their passage to the knock-out rounds with a win. Dortmund are in third on four points, a point ahead of Olympiacos but three points behind Marseille. They really need the victory this evening.

75. Robin van Persie is chatting animatedly with his team-mates during the warm-up, Wenger will be pleased with that show of leadership from the Dutchman.

76. The Gunners are unbeaten in their last 25 Champions League group games in North London, winning 20 of those fixtures, with their last defeat coming against Inter Milan way back in September 2003.

Abou Diaby could make his first apperance of the campaign should he come off the bench. Dortmund meanwhile have named the highly-rated Mario Gotze in the starting XI. A player who has been linked with the Gunners in recent weeks.
