Straker: Ruled out for Shots
Team news ahead of Tuesday's Carling Cup second-round clash between Aldershot and Carlisle at the EBB Stadium (7.30pm).
Aldershot will be without left-back Anthony Straker.
The 22-year-old was sent off in Saturday's 1-1 league draw against Oxford and will, subsequently, not be available due to suspension.
Manager Dean Holdsworth will be also be without midfielder Jake Taylor, who has returned to Reading following his loan spell.
Captain Ben Herd has received the all clear from doctors following a tackle in the second half of the match against Oxford.
Herd spent a couple of hours in hospital on Saturday evening but will be available for Tuesday's game, Holdsworth has confirmed.
The Shots pulled off a shock 2-1 win over West Ham in their rearranged first-round tie and will be targeting another upset.
Carlisle manager Greg Abbott will be forced to make several changes.
Lee Miller, James Tavernier and Lubo Michalik will have to come out of the starting XI from the team which defeated Leyton Orient 2-1.
Miller grabbed both goals on his debut in that game but is cup-tied having represented Middlesbrough in the first round.
Tavernier is on loan with the Cumbrians and his parent club Newcastle have refused Carlisle permission to allow him to feature.
Michalik will be on international duty with Slovakia and will miss United's next three games.
Abbott had to go into the Orient game without Peter Murphy, who failed a late fitness with a back spasm and will be out once more, while Frank Simek is a long-term injury absentee.
