Team news for Wednesday night's JPT clash between Leyton Orient and Dagenham & Redbridge at Matchroom Stadium (7pm).

Goalkeeper Lee Butcher is in Leyton Orient's squad as the team will again be minus two stoppers. Jamie Jones is out for the long run with a shoulder problem and the same injury is keeping David Button sidelined. Button, on loan from Premier League side Tottenham, was absent as the O's collected their first point of the season against Chesterfield, recording their first clean-sheet in the process. The club are unsure when Button will return but he will definitely miss this Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash. Manager Russell Slade has three other injury doubts coming into the game. Scott Cuthbert (calf) and Matthew Spring (groin) missed the stalemate with the Spireites and Leon McSweeney is struggling with a back injury he picked up after coming on as a substitute in the draw. Meanwhile Dagenham and Redbridge are without captain Mark Arber and midfielder Luke Howell, who are the latest players to be added to their ever-growing casualty list. Arber missed Saturday's defeat to Hereford with a back problem and is unlikely to be risked whilst Howell was forced off with an injury and is definitely out. Medy Elito (groin), Josh Scott (knee), Rob Edmans (fractured leg) and Kevin Maher (metatarsal) are all sidelined and Jon Nurse misses out as he is still away on international duty with Barbados. James Shea, on loan from Arsenal, is expected to start in goal and Peter Gain could start for the first team this year as he makes his way back from a hernia operation. The Daggers have beaten the Os the last three times they have squared off in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
