Team news for Monday night's League One clash between Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday at The Valley.

Bradley Wright-Phillips is Charlton's main injury concern ahead of the televised game. The striker missed the 2-1 win at Bury last weekend with a knee problem. Addicks boss Chris Powell will assess his prized asset before deciding whether to put him straight back into the team on Monday night. "We were quite cautious with him last week," Powell told the club's official website. "He got a bit of a knock in training so I just thought that going to Bury and sitting on the coach for four hours - or seven-and-a-half as it turned out - wouldn't be so good for him. "The bigger picture was for him to miss one game but be ready and fit for the remaining games. He trained on Friday and we will see how he reacts." Defender Leon Cort and striker Michael Smith could be added to the squad after becoming Powell's 17th and 18th new signings last week. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Rob Elliot has joined Newcastle. Meanwhile Ryan Lowe and David Kasnik are expected to be added to the Sheffield Wednesday squad. Prolific striker Lowe joined the Owls from Bury last week, while Slovakian defender Kasnik arrived at Hillsborough on loan from Olimpija Ljubljana. Liam Palmer will not be available as the youngster is away on international duty with the Scotland Under-21 squad. Reda Johnson will also miss the trip to London having been called up by Benin for their African Nations Cup qualifier against Burundi. Meanwhile, Giles Coke and Mark Beevers have left the club on loan. Coke has joined Bury and Beevers has linked up with his former Owls team-mate Darren Potter at MK Dons.
