GOAL ODEMWINGIE!!!!! What a great goal. Scharner makes a great run from the right side of the box to the centre before back-heeling to Odemwingie who takes one touch before slotting home with a low strike into the bottom left corner!!!!

Big D says: "Evidently Wolves missing Fletch, Baggies need more firepower as big Somen looks rusty - Cox on late in second half, 2-0 Baggies." Cheers, enjoy the second half.

Fancy a bet? Sky Bet now go 2/7 for a Baggies victory, 7/2 for the draw and 10/1 for Wolves to claim the win. This could still go either way but I'm going to stick to my original 1-1 prediction. What are your views / predictions for the second period? Send them to steve.pass2@bskyb.com and I will post up the best when I get back with my brew.

HALF TIME. The Baggies go in ahead. Wolves have enjoyed plenty of possession but West Brom have been more clinical in front of goal. Stay with us for the second period.

Wolves take the throw in but the Baggies win the ball and release Long. He runs at the Wolves defence and Berra fouls him for the first booking on the game.

Cian says: "Tough game. I think West Brom were the better side in this 1st half. I think the final score will be 2-1 to West Brom."

GOAL - BRUNT!!!! West Brom press and first Tchoyi's shot from the edge of the box is blocked before the ball is fed to Jones to gets to the left byline before cutting the ball back and the unmarked Brunt is there to slot home with his left foot into the top of the net from 15 yards.

First view - Matt has been in touch to say: "I think McCarthy has listened to the fans for once and not only played 4-5-1 but has introduced some quality into the team with milijas and hammill. The thing is I don't know if today was the right day to do it. We all know it's going to be frenetic and probably poor on quality so maybe the likes of hunt and guedioura would have been better options. Time will tell I suppose but that Albion team looks huge.. Set pieces are going to be dangerous and i think hodgson has set them up for a battle... I'm going for a 2-1 win to Albion as I just think looking at the line ups they might bully us.. Hope I'm very wrong of course." Cheers for that Matt, I agree it will be frenetic but Wolves were robbed last time and I think that will push them on to ensure they get a point here. We will see!

Fancy a bet? Sky Bet go evens for a West Brom win, 12/5 for the draw and 11/4 for a Wolves victory. I'm going for the same result here as last season - 1-1 - with Long to score first which pays a handsome 30/1! I'm in form at the moment - I got the 2-0 Stoke to win with Walters to score first yesterday which paid 40/1 so here's hoping lightning strikes twice!
