Team news ahead of Friday's League One clash between Preston North End and Yeovil Town at Deepdale.

Preston boss Phil Brown is hoping goalkeeper Iain Turner will be passed fit for the home clash. The former Everton stopper hurt his elbow during a training session with Scotland last week, forcing him to return early to Deepdale where he has been undergoing intensive treatment. Club captain Ian Ashbee is edging closer to recovering from the knee injury which has prevented him from playing any part in the opening six games. The former Hull midfielder should play some part against the Glovers but Steven Smith, who sustained a calf strain in the 2-0 win over Chesterfield, will be assessed. Rookie defender Daniel Devine remains sidelined after sustaining a broken jaw following an incident in Preston city centre last month. Meanwhile Yeovil will be without injured strike duo Jon Obika and Andy Williams for Friday night's clash. Front man Obika is waiting to find out if he requires surgery on a knee injury and has been ordered to rest for four weeks, while Andy Williams will be missing for six weeks with an ankle knock. Otherwise, Glovers boss Terry Skiverton has a full complement of players to choose from with no outstanding suspensions hanging over his side. "It's a tough game for us - it's another big game in the space of a month," said Skiverton. "I feel like we've played some really decent teams in Sheffield United and MK Dons and I feel like we've come off the back of it with a bit of credit. "But we need to go do that little bit extra and get results against the big teams."
