Stevenage v Wycombe preview

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Stevenage and Wycombe Wanderers at Broadhall Way.

Stevenage have no new problems. Manager Gary Smith has options at his disposal should he wish to make any changes. Patrick Agyemang could be restored to the starting line up. The on-loan striker was on the bench against Bournemouth in midweek after complaining of tightness following his lengthy spell out injured. Midfielders Stacy Long and Jennison Myrie-Williams might be in line for recalls while on-loan defender Jamaal Lascelles and striker Michael Thalassitis are other alternatives for Smith. Strikers Don Cowan (ankle), Chris Beardsley (hamstring) and Jordan Slew (suspended) remain unavailable along with midfielder John Mousinho (foot). Boro have drawn seven matches in an unbeaten eight-game run and go into the game three points shy of the play-off places. Dave Winfield and Matt Bloomfield are major doubts for Wycombe. The influential pair missed the 1-1 draw at home to rivals MK Dons last weekend because of injury. Defender Winfield was struggling with a recurrence of a thigh problem while a calf strain kept midfielder Bloomfield out. Both players have resumed light training but Wanderers manager Gary Waddock told the club's official website: "They have been doing some work but Saturday's game will probably come too early for them." Winger Joel Grant is also a concern after a knock on the leg and he will be monitored. Leon Johnson will serve the second game of a two-match suspension while fellow defender Danny Foster could miss the remainder of the season with the shoulder injury he suffered at Bury a fortnight ago.
