Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Charlton and Leyton Orient at The Valley.

Charlton will be without Darel Russell for this east London derby.

On-loan Preston midfielder Russell starts a four-match ban after he was sent off during Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Huddersfield, his second red card of the season.

Bradley Pritchard, Dale Stephens or Andy Hughes will step into central midfield.

Manager Chris Powell otherwise has a full squad to choose from after skipper Johnnie Jackson and striker Danny Haynes returned to training this week.

Left-winger Jackson's fitness will be assessed after he missed the last two games with an Achilles knock and Haynes has shaken off a hamstring problem.

QPR loanee Lee Cook could make his debut against the side he had a spell with earlier this season.

Ryan Dickson misses out through suspension for Leyton Orient's trip.

The defender, on loan from Southampton, was dismissed during the O's 1-0 victory over Oldham on Tuesday after picking up two bookings.

Leon McSweeney, who deputised for Dickson when the youngster was sidelined earlier this month, may miss his chance to return to the line-up as he struggles with a calf injury.

Scott Cuthbert could return after missing the Oldham game through a knee injury but Jamal Campbell-Ryce is a major doubt for the game at The Valley due to an ankle knock.

Lee Butcher (knee) and Jamie Jones (wrist) are still sidelined, while Marek Stech has returned to West Ham following his ankle injury.
