Bauza: To continue comeback

Bauza: To continue comeback

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Sheffield Wed and Exeter at Hillsborough.

Sheffield Wednesday strikers Chris O'Grady and Ryan Lowe could both return in the home clash and Stephen Bywater is likely to make his debut.

O'Grady lasted just 29 minutes of his first Owls appearance following his switch from Rochdale last month and has since been sidelined with a foot injury.

Lowe managed 22 minutes of his debut at Charlton earlier this month and has been out since with an ankle problem.

Goalkeeper Bywater completed his loan move from Derby this week and is expected to go straight into Gary Megson's starting line-up.

Owls winger Jermaine Johnson sits out the second game of his three-match ban following his dismissal at Stevenage and midfielder David Prutton misses out due to a thigh strain, so Chris Lines could be set for a recall.

Exeter's injury crisis is almost at an end, with only Liam Sercombe out of training in the build-up to the trip.

Sercombe continues to nurse a broken foot, but the Grecians have been buoyed by the return of Guillem Bauza to the first-team arena.

Goal-getter Bauza had been out of action for almost a month before he managed 40 minutes against Bournemouth last week, and Exeter boss Paul Tisdale expects him to feature once again at Hillsborough.

Meanwhile, fellow striker Daniel Nardiello has completed a two-match ban and is available for selection.

Another forward, John O'Flynn, is back in training after recovering from an operation on his knee, but will not be involved this weekend.

"We are starting to come back to full strength slowly but surely," Tisdale told the Express and Echo.

"But it will still be another couple of weeks before Liam is close to starting full training."
