Bishop: Returns from suspension

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Notts County and Bournemouth at Meadow Lane.

Notts County captain Neal Bishop returns from suspension to play Bournemouth.

Bishop missed the defeat at Preston last weekend after he was sent off for two bookable offences during the loss to Sheffield Wednesday.

Fellow midfielder Ricky Ravenhill was absent for both of those matches with the bout of concussion he suffered in the home win over Tranmere.

Ravenhill featured in a friendly this week and could also come back into contention.

Ben Burgess is available again following his hamstring injury but fellow forward Lee Hughes is a doubt after he was withdrawn shortly after half-time against Preston due to a neck problem.

Defender Stephen Hunt remains on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

Meanwhile goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan will return to Bournemouth's squad.

Shwan Jalal stepped in for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory over Hereford but Flahavan will return to the starting XI.

Young striker Jayden Stockley, who was handed a new contract on Thursday, will have to settle for a place on the bench despite scoring twice against the Bulls, while Ryan Doble is likely to start the last match of his loan spell from Southampton.

Scott Malone could return after missing the Hereford fixture as a precautionary measure, although Michael Symes and Joe Partington remain sidelined.

The departure of Liam Feeney means Nathan Byrne may slot into midfield, with Stephen Purches coming in at right-back.
