Barrett: One match suspension

Barrett: One match suspension

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Carlisle and Bournemouth at Brunton Park.

Carlisle manager Greg Abbott is expected to name an unchanged starting line-up.

The Cumbrians kept a second successive clean sheet following the goalless draw at Rochdale in midweek and Abbott has no new injury or suspension problems.

The Cumbrians' back four is likely to pick itself with on-loan Newcastle full-back James Tavernier, left-back Matthew Robson and central defenders Lubo Michalik and Peter Murphy yet to concede a goal after playing two games together as a unit.

Abbott must decide whether to hand a start to winger Andy Welsh, who replaced striker Rory Loy against Rochdale, while Craig Curran, another late substitute, is pushing for a recall.

Defender Frank Simek remains sidelined with a torn thigh muscle and striker Paddy Madden is another long-term absentee following surgery on a broken bone in his foot.

Bournemouth boss Lee Bradbury is expected to make just one change to his team for their long trip to Carlisle despite losing 3-1 at home to Stevenage in midweek.

He will definitely be without the suspended Adam Barrett who is serving a one-game ban following his sending off against Stevenage.

Frenchman Mathieu Baudry is expected to replace him at centre-half.

Much-travelled striker Steve Lovell should be fit enough for a place on the bench. The 30-year-old is yet to play this season because of the thigh injury he picked up in pre-season.

Midfielders Michael Symes and Joe Partington remain long-term absentees. Both will be missing for another four weeks because of back and hip injuries respectively.
