Team news ahead of Tuesday night's League One clash between Sheffield United and Walsall at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield United pair Lee Williamson and Daniel Bogdanovic are hoping to return to the starting line-up. Midfielder Williamson and striker Bogdanovic have not started in either of the Blades' league games so far, but stepped off the bench midway through the second half of Saturday's 2-0 home win over Brentford and gave manager Danny Wilson plenty to ponder. Recent loan signing Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Jordan Slew both started at the weekend and Wilson has several selection dilemmas with no new injury or suspension worries. Midfielder Kevin McDonald made his debut against Brentford after signing from Burnley at the end of last week and is hoping to retain his place. Summer signings Chris Porter and Ryan Flynn remain sidelined after missing the last two games with a dead leg and tight hamstring respectively. Walsall are appealing the red card shown to Andy Butler on Saturday, with the club's influential skipper to discover the outcome just hours before Tuesday night's match. Butler was given his marching orders, along with Hartlepool's Nathan Luscombe, after the pair went in for a 50-50 ball during the 1-1 draw at Victoria Park. Manager Dean Smith revealed he watched video footage of the incident at half-time and immediately felt both players were unlucky, with a claim of wrongful dismissal now lodged with the powers that be. Should the red card be upheld then Butler will serve a three-match ban. One man who will definitely miss out due to suspension at Bramall Lane is midfielder Adam Chambers who serves the second game of his three-match ban. Chambers was sent off in last Tuesday's 3-0 Carling Cup defeat to Middlesbrough. Otherwise, Smith has a fully-fit squad to select from.
