  2. FULL TIME: Mark Hughes' side have it all to do if they want to remain in the Premeir League. They remain on 31 points, but now have only four games remaining. The winning goal came in the first half as Graham Dorrans' long-range piledriver flew past Paddy Kenny and that proved to be the winner for Albion who moved onto 42 points.

  3. 90+3

Anton Ferdinand is felled by Shane Long and the offside flag goes up against Heidar Helguson.

  4. 90+2

CHANCE FOR LONG! Shane Long races clear, but he fails to hit the target and lifts his effort wide of the far post. That could have wrapped things up.

  5. 90+1

Rangers win a free-kick and Samba Diakite's ball into the box is met by Heidar Helguson but he is penalised by referee Jon Moss.

  6. 90

We're going to have four added minutes now and QPR have to throw everything forward.

  7. 89

Albion have everybody back behind the ball now as we enter stoppage time.

  8. 88

Albion go to Liverpool next week and manager Roy Hodgson will be looking forward to taking his team to Anfield, and of course, his former club.

  9. 87

A shout of 'Co'mon you Baggies' goes up at The Hawthorns now as the clock ticks down.

  10. 86

Zamora fells Andrews for a free-kick to West Brom as Graham Dorrans is announced as the man-of the-match by the home sponsers.

  11. 85

Barton is trying to lead from the front as the flag goes up against Bobby Zamora.

  12. 84

Samba Diakite takes an obvious dive in the box and now Barton finds Nedum Onuoha, but the Baggies win the throw much to the delight of the home supporters.

  13. 83

Armand Traore wins a corner now and Barton's corner is headed away well.

  14. 82

Albion win a free-kick 25-yards out and Chris Brunt's left-footed effort is well saved by Paddy Kenny.

  15. 81

SUBSTITUTION: Paul Scharner replaces Jerome Thomas as Albion look to pack up the midfield.

  16. 80

Barton's inswinger nearly finds the head of Heidar Helguson.

  17. 79

Armand Traore's cross is blocked by Chris Brunt for a corner.

  18. 78

That one moment of magic from Graham Dorrans has been the difference in this match, although QPR have been the better team this half.

  19. 77

SUBSTITUTION: Armand Traore replaces Taye Taiwo and he last played in the 3-2 win at home to Liverpool.

  20. 76

SUBSTITUTION: Heidar Helguson - QPR's leading scorer this season with eight goals, replaces a disappointed Adel Taarabt.

  21. 75

CHANCE ZAMORA! Peter Odemwingie closes down Joey Barton but Adel Taarabt finds Bobby Zamora in space, but his shot is blocked by hsi own man in the form of Jamie Mackie.

  22. 73

QPR have taken just two points from the last 30 available on the road in the league and no team has taken fewer points away from home than QPR this season (11). So, the pressure is on the visitors although they've been in fine form of late.

  23. 72

The Hoops have scored on seven of their last eight visits to the Hawthorns, but have won only one (D3 L4).

  24. 71

Adel Taarabt feeds Wright-Phillips, but his cross is collected well by Foster.

  25. 70

SUBSTITUTION: Keith Andrews makes his 300th appearance as he comes on for goalscorer Graham Dorrans.

  26. 69

YELLOW CARD: Graham Dorrans is booked for a sliding tackle on Shaun Wright-Phillips.

  27. 68

The pressure is building as Roy Hodgson looks to his bench to maybe freshen things up.

  28. 67

The momentum is with QPR at the moment as Adel Taarabt's corner is blocked for a goal-kick. Correct decision!

  29. 66

The visitors have gone to a 4-4-2 formation now as they look to get the ball up to Zamora.

  30. 65

QPR are just above the bottom three as things stand as Shaun Wright-Phillips' shot is deflected away for a corner.

  31. 64

Shane Long is almost away and clear, but Clint Hill makes a superb last-ditch challenge to deny him a shot at goal. It's a corner-kick to Albion.

  32. 63

QPR need to have a go this half as Joey Barton hooks his effort wide of the far post.

  33. 62

YELLOW CARD: Liam Ridgewell is booked for time wasting and Mark Hughes is furious on the touchline.

  34. 61

SUBSTITUTION: Marc-Antoine Fortune is replaced by the dangerous Shane Long for West Brom and second later Joey Barton lifts his strike over the crossbar.

  35. 60

First touch of the game for Shaun Wright-Phillips is a goalbound effort as Marc-Antoine Fortune goes back to the ground holding his leg.

  36. 59

YELLOW CARD: Samba Diakite was booked for an earlier challenge on Marc-Antoine Fortune.

  37. 58

SUBSTITUTION: Shaun Wright-Phillips replaces Shaun Derry for QPR.

  38. 57

Jerome Thomas gets caught in two minds before his cross simply drifts straight out of play.

  39. 56

OFF THE POST! Fine build-up play by Albion as Billy Jones gets mighty close to his first goal for the club, but it denied by the near post.

  40. 55

Clint Hill tussles with Marc-Antoine Fortune and Rangers are surprisingly awarded the free-kick.

  41. 54

Jerome Thomas and Nedum Onuoha are having a right old battle down the near side.

  42. 53

Excellent start to the second half by the visiting side. Mark Hughes will be pleased with this from his side.

  43. 52

Youssouf Mulumbu slams Adel Taarabt's wicked delivery away from the resulting free-kick.

  44. 51

YELLOW CARD: Youssouf Mulumbu hacks Nedum Onuoha to the ground and is correctly booked.

  45. 50

Dorrans turns away and then attempts to curl the ball around Kenny, but the much travelled keeper is behind the ball.

  46. 49

Rangers will have to show some more heart in this second half if they wish to gain a rare away point or three, which would suit them better.

  47. 48

Zamora gets a ticking off by referee Jon Moss, although I'm not sure who was telling who off as the striker was frantically waving his finger about.

  48. 47

The game is still in the balance and QPR showed they're dangerous on the break, especially towards the latter period of the first period.

  49. 46

West Brom get the second half underway and there haven't been any changes at the break as expected really.

  50. 1551

If you'd like to air your views during the second half, email Raz...that's me! at or Tweet me: @RazMirza and I'll publish as many as I can.

  51. 1550

West Brom are now 1/3 to claim victory with SKY BET, while the draw is 3/1 and a QPR away win is a 10/1 shot. My pre-match prediction of 1-1, which was 6/1 is now 4/1. Head now to to place your bets.

  52. HALF TIME: West Brom lead 1-0 at the break. Scotland international Graham Dorrans scored the opening goal with a cracking 30-yard drive after 22 minutes, which found its way past Paddy Kenny. Bobby Zamora had two excellent opportunites for QPR, but Ben Foster denied him on both occasions.

  53. 45

Just one added minutes at the end of this half as Youssouf Mulumbu looks to squeeze the ball across goal, but it goes out of play.

  54. 44

JUST WIDE! Jamie Mackie very nearly catches Albion cold at the back as he drags his right-foot shot just wide of the post with Foster beaten.

  55. 43

Peter Odemwingie jinxes past two challenges before his fierce effort is well blocked by Anton Ferdinand.

  56. 42

QPR are finishing this first-half much more strongly as Adel Taarabt gets outnumbered.

  57. 40

SECOND CHANCE ZAMORA! The big striker latches onto Taye Taiwo's pass superbly, but his effort is brilliantly stopped by the impressive Ben Foster.

  58. 39

CHANCE ZAMORA! Joey Barton's superb delivery with the outside of his right-boot finds the striker in the six yard box, but he somehow heads inches wide of goal.

  59. 38

And now Albion are offside at the other end as the games goes into a quiet period.

  60. 37

The flag is up on the far side and Albion win the free-kick which Foster knocks long.

  61. 36

Diakite finds Nedum Onuoha and now Taye Taiwo's pass goes astray.

  62. 35

By the way, Kenny has reportedly been linked with a move to Leeds and former boss Neil Warnock.

  63. 34

Marc-Antoine Fortune has a pop at goal from 30-yards, but Kenny is behind it.

  64. 33

Peter Odemwingie finds himself in space inside the area, but his shot is blocked by Clint Hill's backside.

  65. 32

CHANCE QPR! Jamie Mackie picks out Samba Diakite in space, but his fizzes his strike against the side netting. Some Rangers fans though the ball hit the back of the net!

  66. 31

CHANCE ALBION! Chris Brunt's pass to Peter Odemwingie is delicious, but the striker fires his right-foot shot into the side netting from just inside the area.

  67. 29

Youssouf Mulumbu attempts to knock the ball into the box but QPR defend well.

  68. 28

Adel Taarabt produces a couple of stepovers before dragging his left-foot shot wide of the mark.

  69. 27

The Baggies will move onto 42 points if they collect all three points this afternoon with four games remaining.

  70. 26

The West Brom fans really enjoyed that goal and the 'yoyo club' are not doing so anymore under Hodgson anymore.

  71. 25

Albion have not lost at home to QPR since October 1999 when Stuart Wardley got the only goal of the game.

  72. 24

He scored a similar goal against West Ham last season ina 3-3 draw and he's done it again! That was his second goal of the season.

  73. Wow! What a cracker from Dorrans. From the throw, Odemwingie lays the ball into his path, around 35-yards from goal, but the midfielder has one thing on his mind as he thumps a right-foot cracker which finds the top corner.

  74. 22

GOAL: West Brom 1 (Graham Dorrans 22) QPR 0.

  75. 21

Anton Ferdinand - making the 250th appearance concedes a throw.

  76. 20

Barton did score a stunner against Swansea in midweek and he's winning over the Rs fans.

  77. 19

QPR win a free-kick out wide and Adel Taarabt's right-footed delivery finds it way to Joey Barton who claims a handball, but referee Jon Moss waves away appeals.

  78. 18

Graham Dorrans fizzes the ball into the box and it causes all sorts of problems until Rangers clear their lines and break through Zamora, but Craig Dawson makes a fine sliding tackle.

  79. 17

Samba Diakite brings Graham Dorrans down for a free-kick about 35-yards from goal from the angle.

  80. 16

The pressure is still on though and Albion win another corner which Brunt swings over, but Rangers defend well again.

  81. 15

Graham Dorrans' cross looks to find Liam Ridgewell, but Clint Hill is alert as ever.

  82. 14

Marc-Antoine Fortune wins Albion a corner at the other end.

  83. 13

Now Barton wins QPR a corner-kick, but it comes to nothing and Albion can break.

  84. 12

Billy Jones skips past Taye Taiwo down the right, but Clint Hill blocks his attempted cross.

  85. 11

Twitter philosopher and midfielder Joey Barton gets a rare touch of the ball, but then immediately loses out.

  86. 10

Jerome Thomas, who's been out injured the last three games, picks out Odemwingie, but he fires his long-range effort over the crossbar.

  87. 9

West Brom seem to be playing with freedom and after two decent chances in the opening 10 minutes of the game, we could be in for a cracker today folks!

  88. 8

CHANCE ALBION! Shaun Derry gifts the ball to Marc-Antoine Fortune and he feeds Peter Odemwingie in space, but the Nigerian pulls his left-foot shot a whisker wide of the far post.

  89. 7

Apart from that early chance for QPR, Albion have had all of the ball and are looking to get their short passing game together.

  90. 6

Albion have lined-up in a 4-4-2 formation with Rangers are playing a 4-3-2-1 formation with Bobby Zamora up on his own.

  91. 5

Jerome Thomas plays a neat one-two with Chris Brunt, but this is fine early possession from the home side.

  92. 4

QPR CHANCE! Bobby Zamora brushes Gareth McAuley aside before his low right-foot shot is well saved by Foster. Fine goalkeeping to stop the former Fulham striker.

  93. 3

Craig Dawson gets his first touch of the game. He did play in the 4-0 defeat at Manchester City in midweek, so he should be fit.

  94. 2

The game earlier in the season between these side's ended in a 1-1 draw at Loftus Road and that's my prediction for this afternoon as Ben Foster lumps the ball forward.

  95. 1

The past three meetings between these sides at The Hawthorns have produced a total of 16 goals, so let's hope for more of the same today as the visitors get the game underway.

  96. 1455

The teams are on their way out at a busy Hawthorns. The pitch is in excellent condition and Rangers fans have come up to the West Midlands in force. Don't forget, if you'd like to air your views during the match, email Raz...that's me! at or Tweet me: @RazMirza and I'll publish as many as I can.

  97. 1446

QPR have midfielder Shaun Derry available after suspension and he replaces Akos Buzsaky in the starting line-up.

  98. 1445

West Brom boss Roy Hodgson backed up his promise to rotate his players for the remainder of the season by making six changes. However, he is forced to make a late switch after defender Jonas Olsson - who played in the 4-0 midweek defeat at Manchester City - suffered a groin injury during the warm-up and is replaced by Craig Dawson. Hodgson brings defenders Gareth McAuley and Liam Ridgewell, midfielder Chris Brunt, winger Jerome Thomas and strikers Peter Odemwingie and Marc-Antoine Fortune back into the starting line-up.

  99. 1440

Just to let you know Albion fans, there's a late change in your starting line-up as Jonas Olsson picked up an injury during the warm-up, so Craig Dawson has replaced him at centre-back.

  100. 1435

West Brom are 11/10 to claim victory with SKY BET, while the draw is 5/2 and a QPR away win is a 23/10 shot. The Baggies' Peter Odemwingie is 5/1 to score first and Marc-Antoine Fortune is 6/1 while Jerome Thomas and Graham Dorrans are priced at 12/1. Chris Brunt is 20/1 to bag a brace. Rangers' Bobby Zamora is favourite to bag the first goal for the visitors at 15/2 while Jamie Mackie is 11/1. Adel Taarabt is a good bet at 8/1 while Joey Barton is 6/1 to score in 90 minutes. I'm going for a pre-match prediction of 1-1, which is 6/1. Head now to to place your bets.

  101. 1431

WEST BROM: Foster, Jones, McAuley, Dawson, Ridgewell, Brunt, Mulumbu, Dorrans, Thomas, Fortune, Odemwingie.

  102. 1431

SUBSTITUTES: Daniels, Andrews, Long, Shorey, Dawson, Cox, Scharner.

  103. 1431

QPR: Kenny, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hill, Taiwo, Barton, Diakite, Derry, Mackie, Zamora, Taarabt.

  104. 1431

SUBSTITUTES: Cerny, Gabbidon, Traore, Buzsaky, Young, Helguson, Wright-Phillips.

  105. 1431

    REFEREE: Jon Moss (W Yorkshire).

  106. 1430

    Here come the teams...

  107. 1416

Mark Hughes has no intention of letting Adel Taarabt leave Loftus Road after reports linking him with a move to German club Wolfsburg: "We've certainly not had any conversations in that regard and have no intention of allowing him to leave." What do you think Rangers fans? Would you like the magic Moroccan to stay at the club? And what about today's clash...can you grab a second win in a week and keep your dreams of staying in the top flight alive? Email Raz...that's me! at or Tweet me: @RazMirza and I'll publish as many as I can.

  108. 1413

Hughes has Shaun Derry available after suspension to aid his cause while Hodgson will need few introductions or DVD clips of Bobby Zamora, his former Fulham striker and I'm looking forward to seeing Adel Taarabt and Jamie Mackie in action as both players are in top form right now.

  109. 1412

QPR arrive at B71 having taken 10 points from their last seven games - including victories over Liverpool, Arsenal and, most recently, Swansea. Significantly, they kept their first clean sheet since October against the Swans. Rangers' home form has dramatically improved; now they must dig out some away points. Given that QPR's other two remaining trips are to Chelsea and Manchester City this looks the best chance of an away point or three.

  110. 1406

Hodgson also insists Peter Odemwingie will be at the Hawthorns next season. There had been speculation linking the 30-year-old forward with a move to Fulham in exchange for Andrew Johnson. What do you think Albion fans...would you like to see the Nigerian stay? And what do you think about today's match? Predictions please! One more point should be enough for safetey and you can start planning for next season. Do you agree? Email Raz...that's me! at or Tweet me: @RazMirza and I'll publish as many as I can.

  111. 1405

However, Hodgson will be keen for a few more results to lift them beyond the 40-point mark. He said: "It is going to be very important for us to get a good result on Saturday. Getting ourselves into a pretty safe position after 32 games has taken an awful lot out of us and I was very concerned that we wouldn't be able to do it with the same team for three games."

  112. 1403

West Brom have little to play for which has been reflected in three defeats from their last four games. Roy Hodgson will tell his Albion players they are not completely safe yet, but one more win and they will be, with the Baggies currently sat in 13th place on 39 points and should soon be planning for a third successive top-flight season.

  113. 1401
