1. Full-time. And that's the final whistle. Something of a bore draw at the Stadium of Light. Wolves at least bring their run of seven consecutive defeats under Terry Connor to an end.

    Forde cuts in from the left and fires a right-footed effort to Mignolet's near post but the Belgian is up to the challenge and saves neatly.

    Forde's cross is blocked and when it comes out to Davis he miscontrols and commits the foul.

54. Half-time. The referee has seen enough. It's not been a classic at the Stadium of Light. Goalless at the interval. Wolves are battling away despite a lack of quality. Sunderland just haven't done enough yet. Let's hope for a better second-half.

    Forde loses the ball with a slack pass on the edge of the Wolves area but a last ditch challenge from Stearman saves the visitors.

    Kightly twice has the chance to play a threaded pass while running at the Sunderland defence but both times the ball is scuffed and the chance is gone.

    Wolves looking predictably nervy at the back but it's been a slow start from Sunderland. The fans need some encouragement and a mix up between Foley and Kightly could provide it - the latter passing the ball out for a Sunderland corner.

    Fast break again from the home side. Larsson finds Sessegnon who spreads it to the left to find McClean on the overlap but the winger's passed effort is just wide of the near post.

    Forde whips this one in and there is a goalmouth scramble with Berra swinging wildly at the ball before the Sunderland can clear.

    Kightly runs at Richardson and beats him but McClean does well on the cover, conceding a corner. Kightly puts the ball in and Sunderland are forced to concede again on the other flank.

    Weak effort from Kightly now and it dribbles wide. Even start with the game being played at a fairly leisurely pace.

    First shot on target for Wolves. Good run from Henry and although Ward cannot quite find him with a throughball it breaks for Forde 20 yards out and the youngster attempts to bend one into the far corner. It's too close to Mignolet though and he collects.

    The visitors attacking down the right through Kightly but he loses out and Sunderland quickly break through Bendtner. The Dane feeds Larsson in the right channel but his effort is wide of Hennessey's near post.

    Fletcher is up and the game continues with Mignolet set to launch it long.

    First attack for Wolves now as Fletcher dodges two challenges before bumping into Gardner. No penalty given but Fletcher is still down and play has stopped for the striker to be treated.

    Larsson whips this one in and it's misjudged by Hennessey but it eludes everyone and is out for a goal kick.

    McClean swings the ball in and Berra is forced to put the ball out for another corner - this time on the left.

    Another good turn by Sessegnon feeds Bendtner who spreads the play to Larsson. His cross is blocked and Wolves concede a corner.

96. Sunderland welcome back Nicklas Bendtner after a back problem. The striker has four goals in his last six Premier League games.

97. Connor has certainly switched things around from Wednesday when 10-men Wolves were given the run around by Arsenal. Zubar, Jarvis and Doyle move to the bench, Edwards is injured and Bassong suspended. Young Irish midfielder Anthony Forde comes in for only his third start.

98. At least fans of both clubs seem to be agreed on the score. Wolves fan Stuart Bowdler says: "Why would you drop Jarvis to the bench? Proves that TC doesn't have a clue!! Prediction lose 3-0."

99. Sunderland fan Jeff says: "We need to reverse the disappointment of the Everton debacle. I am predicting a 3-0 win for The Mackems with Bendtner scoring & Sessegnon bagging a brace."

104. Sunderland don't have a great deal to play for but Martin O'Neill is determined for his first season in charge not to end on a flat note and this is a good opportunity for the Black Cats to send the fans home happy.

105. Wolves need a win here to keep their slim hopes of staying in the Premier League alive. Well, to be honest they probably need five wins out of their last five and it's Manchester City up next... but Terry Connor will be aiming to pick up his first win as boss at the ninth attempt.
