And that's it! Spurs continue their stunning form this season and edge closer towards the top two. Newcastle head home with their tails between their legs after being thoroughly outplayed. Well, I hope youve enjoyed it, I'm Ryan Gordon wishing you all a great rest of your weekend.
Last change for Newcastle now as Peter Lovenkrands comes on for Danny Guthrie.
Ryan Nelsen comes on for Ledley King, who hands the captain's armband over to Michael Dawson.
Gosling's first contribution to the match is to pick up a yellow card for a reckless challenge in the middle of the park.
Another change for Newcastle as well as Papiss Cisse makes way for Dan Gosling.
Gareth Bale looks to make it six with a strike from distance, but the ball is always rising and doesn't trouble the keeper. That's the Welshman's last piece of action for the day and comes off for Aaron Lennon, while Harry Redknapp also decides to take off Louis Saha for Jermaine Defoe.
GOAL! Tottenham 5-0 Newcastle! Emmanuel Adebayor!
Dave Kitchen asks: Harry's man management skill seems to be working, could he do the same for England?
Spurs get the second-half under way! One change at the break as Newcastle's Gabriel Obertan comes off for Shane Ferguson.
It's going to take something special for Newcastle to turn this around in the second-half, although they did it against Arsenal just over a year again, turning a 4-0 deficit into a 4-4 draw. Either way, Alan Pardew will have to change something up at the interval if they are to have any hope of avoiding a complete walloping this evening.
GOAL! Tottenham 4-0 Newcastle! Nico Kranjcar!
GOAL! Tottenham 3-0 Newcastle! Louis Saha!
GOAL! Tottenham 2-0 Newcastle! Louis Saha!
GOAL! Tottenham 1-0 Newcastle! Benoit Assou-Ekotto!
It promises to be a great game this evening, but James Wallbridge reckons it's going to be an absolute corker. He says: I think from newcastle's win over villa and ba and cisse on form, will be too much for tottenham's defence so i'm going for a 3-2 win with tottenham going 1-0 up with adebayor and then newcastle equalising with ba then bale puts tottenham up again at 2-1 then ba scoring again and gutierrez grabbing the winner! come on Newcastle! We can beat tottenham!
The Newcastle fans have found their voice. Marvin Heng says: Chelsea's lost to Everton presents Newcastle with the chance to climb up 2 spot to no.4 if they win. Against Spurs it will be hard but with Ba and Cisse up front, anything is possible. Newcastle has everything to win and everything to lose. A draw is not good enough since Arsenal also win. Slim 2-1 margin for Newcastle!
Gabriel Sutton from Birmingham says: Hi Ryan- looking forward to this evenings game, Spurs and Newcastle are in great form at the moment. I think a lot of the papers I've read have suggested that Redknapp taking the England job would maybe knock Spurs of their stride a little bit. I completely disagree- if anything it could make them more determined to persuade him to stay. For me, Tottenham have the best midfield in the Premiership and arguably one of the best in the world. This will reduce the chances for Senagalese pair Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse. I can see a comfortable win for Tottenham. Verdict- 3-0.
Iain is first out the blocks and predicts victory for Spurs. He writes: Tottenham will win 2-1 with Bale and Walker getting the goals for Spurs and Best getting the one for Newcastle. They are doing great at the moment with the backing of a great manager, they will finish 3rd or 4th at the end of this season before Harry takes the England job. We'll have more chance of winning anything with a England manager like Harry Redknapp to move us forward.
We'll take a look at the team sheets as soon as they come through, but why not first get involved by mailing your thoughts, predictions of footballing whatevers to email@example.com and we'll get the discussions going.
Care to make it a little more interesting? Well, our friends at Sky Bet have put Tottenham as 4/9 favourites to claim the points today, while Newcastle are 6/1 to leave White Hart Lane with the win.
