  1. Thank you for following our match commentary. Stay with us for post-match reaction from both teams. Thanks again.

  2. That's it! It's a thrilling finale, but it's finished all square at one apiece. Howard's woeful blunder gifted Wigan the lead, but Anichebe ensured Moyes' side claimed a point with a late header.

  3. 90+3

Promising move by Everton is halted after Jelavic brings down Beausejour. The visitors were not happy with that.

  4. 90+2

A massive scramble in Everton's penalty area, but the visitors are awarded a free-kick after Crusat is deemed to have handballed.

  5. 90+1

Moses' cross is knocked behind for a corner by Heitinga.

  6. 90

Four minutes of added time is due to be played at the DW Stadium.

  7. 90

Neville's through-ball is poor, allowing Al Habsi to gather.

  8. 89

Baines took it, even though it looked better suited to a right-footed player, and it goes over.

  9. 88

Free-kick for Everton on the edge of Wigan's penalty area as Figueroa brings down Jelavic. The defender is booked.

  10. 88

Half a chance for Crusat, but his effort is blocked.

  11. 87

Caldwell and Pienaar go down in a heap. It's free-kick to Wigan.

  12. 86

Everton remain on top after equalising. Will there be another sting in the tail?

  13. 83

Caldwell heads Baines' corner back to him. His second cross is glanced home by Anichebe, who scored with his first touch of the game.

  14. 83

GOAL! Everton are level through Anichebe.

  15. 82

Baines' cross is blocked out for a corner.

  16. 81

Change for Everton with Anichebe coming on. Right-back Tony Hibbert makes way for the striker. Last throw of the dice from Moyes.

  17. 81

Heitinga is flagged offside for the visitors.

  18. 80

Everton are now pushing forward in numbers as they have to do, although it's giving Wigan space to counter-attack. We've got a game on.

  19. 77

Another great opportunity for Wigan. Moses has all kinds of time and space. He had team-mates in support, but he tried the shot himself. Wrong option.

  20. 76

Absolute shocker from Howard. Beausejour's cross hits Neville, the ball takes a horrible bounce and squirms through Howard's grasp. Out of nothing the home side lead.

  21. 76

GOAL! Wigan has scored. Terrible mistake by Howard.

  22. 75

Crusat lays the ball off to Beausejour, although the winger's cross had gone out of play.

  23. 71

Everton took in quickly and they were able to get the ball into Wigan's penalty area, but the move came to nothing.

  24. 70

Free-kick for Everton now as Baines goes down.

  25. 70

Wigan appeal for a penalty with McCarthy's ball possibly catching Heitinga's arm. It's a corner for the home side.

  26. 69

Final change for Wigan with Crusat replacing Di Santo, who is feeling his leg.

  27. 69

Fellaini gets his shot away, but the offside flag was already up.

  28. 67

Wigan just passing the ball around at the moment.

  29. 65

Double change for Wigan with Jones and Rodallega coming on for Gomez and Stam.

  30. 63

Wigan are preparing a double switch.

  31. 60

Jelavic leaves Hibbert's cut-back. Fellaini was waiting to pounce, but Wigan managed to clear the danger. Nearly an immediate impact by the striker.

  32. 58

Second change of the game for Everton with Jelavic coming on for his debut. He replaces Stracqualursi, who has had a quiet second half.

  33. 58

Gibson had time and space outside Wigan's penalty area, but the tame shot was comfortable for Al Habsi.

  34. 58

Home fans are starting to become disgruntled with Wigan's lack of attacking threat.

  35. 57

First booking at the game as McArthur brings down Pienaar from behind. Easy decision.

  36. 54

Poor first touch from Fellaini in Wigan's penalty area costs the Belgian midfielder a chance to get a shot away.

  37. 54

Woeful cross from Gomez. It goes straight out of play, giving Di Santo no chance of testing Howard.

  38. 52

Boyce meets Beausejour's free-kick, but his effort fails to trouble Howard.

  39. 50

Jelavic is warming up on the sidelines. How long will it be before the Croatia international makes his Toffees debut?

  40. 50

Very little happening here right now.

  41. 49

Moses' through-ball is too strong allowing Howard to secure possession.

  42. 47

Goal kick to Wigan after Figueroa kicks the ball against Fellaini.

  43. 46

Everton get the second half underway!

  44. I'm hearing Cahill has gone off due to an ankle injury. It was not a tactician substitution.

  45. Wigan are now back out for the second half.

  46. Everton are making a change at half time. Tim Cahill has been replaced by Phil Neville, who has also taken the captain's armband.

  47. If you have any thoughts on the game at half-time, write to me on on Twitter @SkySportsJamesP.

  48. The half-time whistle goes and it's goalless at the DW Stadium. Wigan 0 Everton 0.

  49. 45

One minute of injury-time is due to be played.

  50. 45

Beausejour's cross easily collected by Howard.

  51. 44

Gomez goes in late on Cahill, but again, no booking.

  52. 41

Another mis-placed pass from Gibson. Distin does well to recover the situation as the backpass was going to fall short for Howard.

  53. 40

Excellent chance for Everton. Baines was clear down the left, he cut it back for the ex-Man Utd man and with a clean shot on goal he blazed his attempt over. Poor really.

  54. 39

McCarthy's shot is controlled by Distin. The Wigan man tried a first-time effort with Howard momentarily out of his goal, but the midfielder's attempt was not good enough.

  55. 38

Superb defending from Hibbert to keep Di Santo from getting a touch of the back post. In the end the Latics striker gave away a free-kick trying to score.

  56. 37

Dreadful ball from Gibson, can Wigan capitalise?

  57. 36

Gomez catches Fellaini with a late challenge, but he avoids going into the referee's notebook.

  58. 34

Fellaini gets a touch on Baines' set-piece into Wigan's penalty area, but Al Habsi is able to gather the ball.

  59. 32

Stam knocks down Beausejour's left-wing cross, but Moses was unable to control in the middle allowing Everton to deal with the threat.

  60. 30

Wigan manage to scramble Donovan's corner away. Pienaar tried an ambitious shot, but it was woeful.

  61. 30

Moses tracks back and denies Baines' cross, but it remains a corner for the visitors.

  62. 29

Gomez tries a direct shot, but the effort is high leaving Howard untroubled.

  63. 28

Heitinga is perhaps a touch lucky to avoid being booked for hauling down Di Santo. It's still a free-kick for Wigan in a decent position outside of Everton's penalty area.

  64. 27

Good recovery from Hibbert to knock the ball out of play to stop Beausejour gathering possession.

  65. 25

Stracqualursi is getting through some work up front for Everton. This time he is fouled by Boyce.

  66. 23

Woeful shot from Gibson. He tried a long-range special, but it went out sideways for a throw-in.

  67. 22

Gomez's corner is gathered by at his near post by Howard. He was under pressure, but it was a clean take.

  68. 20

Di Santo latched onto Figueroa's long ball. Howard came out well to close down the danger after the striker got the better of Distin.

  69. 20

Best chance of the game as Howard is called upon to make a close-range save from Di Santo.

  70. 19

It's now Wigan's turn to pen Everton back into their own half. This game is certainly up for grabs.

  71. 18

Another good piece of defending from Distin as he cuts out Beausejour's cross. The new signing is looking bright in attack for Wigan.

  72. 16

Stracqualursi's attempt was distance was easily blocked. Donovan then concedes a free-kick.

  73. 15

Everton are now controlling the possession after Wigan's lively start.

  74. 14

The contest is being played at a slow tempo.

  75. 13

First save of the game and Al Habsi denies Stracqualursi. Donovan picked out the striker and his team-mate poked the ball goalwards, but it was saved by the near post.

  76. 11

Everton are now coming into the game a bit more and pushing the home side back. No chances of note.

  77. 10

Cahill has time and space outside Wigan's penalty area, but he scoops his shot over Al Habsi's goal. Expected him to do a little better from that position.

  78. 9

Wigan are doing all the pressing, however, the visitors are looking threatening on the counter-attack.

  79. 7

Another good move from Wigan. This time Distin is forced to hack Gomez's cross to safety.

  80. 6

The Toffees hit back on the break. Pienaar tries to pick out on-loan Stracqualursi, but the Argentina striker was offside.

  81. 5

Beausejour plays a neat one-two with Gomez, but his cross was too strong for Moses in the middle.

  82. 3

The home side looking the better of the teams so far. Everton just looking to hold their shape and not give anything away.

  83. 2

Wigan staying composed early on. They are looking to secure possession and pass the ball around a bit.

  84. 1

    Fast and furious start here.

  85. 1

    Wigan get the contest underway!

  86. It's not a full house at the DW, but considering the conditions I'm not surprised.

  87. Wigan begin the day five points adrift of fourth-from-bottom Bolton. Surely if they are to stay up this season they can ill-afford to not pick up at least a point here. The Toffees will be buzzing after toppling the league leaders.

  88. They are now out and doing the pre-match handshakes.

  89. The teams are in the tunnel. Just five minutes from the big kick-off!

  90. Unsurprisingly, like the rest of England, it's freezing conditions in Wigan. Let's see how the players handle the cold temperatures.

  91. Team news!

  92. Midfielder Steven Pienaar has been given an immediate second debut for Everton, although ex-Rangers man Nikica Jelavic is only on the bench. Pienaar has replaced Royston Drenthe in the team that beat Man City on Tuesday while Sylvain Distin has returned from injury and has replaced Phil Neville. Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has made just one change from the side that lost 3-1 at Spurs with goalscorer James McArthur coming in for Ben Watson. Mohamed Diame is on the bench after Africa Cup of Nations duty.

  93. The teams are in!

  94. Wigan: Al Habsi, Stam, Boyce, Caldwell, Figueroa, Beausejour, McCarthy, McArthur, Gomez, Moses, Di Santo. Subs: Pollitt, Alcaraz, Crusat, Watson, Jones, Rodallega, Diame.

  95. Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Heitinga, Distin, Baines, Pienaar, Fellaini, Gibson, Donovan, Cahill, Stracqualursi. Subs: Mucha, Jelavic, Drenthe, Neville, Gueye, Anichebe, Duffy.

  96. Referee: Anthony Taylor (Cheshire)

  97. Keep those Twitter views coming in! The best of the responses will be published. Do you have any thoughts on today's match?

  98. Just awaiting the confirmed line-ups from both camps.

  99. The Toffees are unbeaten in six Premier League games against Wigan. The points were shared at Wigan last season as Leighton Baines' penalty cancelled out Charles N'Zogbia's opener.

  100. If you have any pre-match thoughts on the game, feel free to post me a message on Twitter @SkySportsJamesP. The best of the suggestions will be published.

  101. I'm James Pearson and I'll be talking you though today's Premier League meeting between Wigan Athletic and Everton from the DW Stadium.

  102. Everton have won just one of their last five away Premier League matches but are evens to win at bottom club Wigan (11/4). Confidence will be high in the Toffees' camp after their midweek win against Manchester City and it's a tempting 12/1 for Darron Gibson to open the scoring. Nikica Jelavic is 5/1 to open the scoring on his debut and it's 8/1 for Jelavic and Hugo Rodallega both to score. This game is part of Sky Bet's 'What if the goals keep coming' special, which offers odds of 16/1 that every Premier League team will score in the 3pm kick-offs. Click here for more
