  1. FT

Thanks for tuning into a wonderful game - hope you enjoyed the coverage as much as I enjoyed watching the match. Stay tuned for full report and post-match reaction.

  2. FT

Phew! It's all over here. What a game! Credit to Norwich for a tremendous fightback, but you can only feel for Blackburn and Steve Kean who will feel robbed after Grant Holt's controversial penalty deep in stoppage time levelled the match.

  3. 90+6

Unbelievable finish at Carrow Road as Norwich claim a controversial equaliser! N'Zonzi harshly adjudged to have handled Johnson's free kick before Holt dispatches past Robisnon into the bottom left corner.

  4. 90+5

GOAL And Holt buries the penalty!!

  5. 90+4

    Norwich win a penalty!!

  6. 90+3

Holt hauled down in a dangerous position and wins a free kick.

  7. 90+2

Jackson prods wide from a tight angle - has Norwich's final chance been and gone?

  8. 90+1

Five minutes of added time shown by the fourth official in a exciting finish to this game.

  9. 90

Holt slams into N'Zonzi but the Norwich club captain escapes, quite fortunately in my opinion, a yellow card.

  10. 89

We're expecting plenty of injury time - good news for Norwich, bad news for Blackburn.

  11. 88

Blackburn could have finished Norwich off but Dunn fails to pick out Goodwillie from the home byline.

  12. 87

Blackburn trying to keep the ball and settle the game down in the dying moments. It will be a vital win if they can hold on!

  13. 85

Petrovic waltzes through Norwich defence but fails to trouble Ruddy at the crucial moment. Goodwillie, stood in acres of space, may have been a better option to tap home.

  14. 84

The noise levels have certainly gone up a notch at Carrow Road! Can the home side grab a leveller?

  15. 83

Huge slice of luck for Norwich as Bradley Johnson's wayward shot takes a huge deflection off Givet and loops over the stranded Robinson into the Blackburn net.

  16. 82

GOAL!! Norwich reduce the deficit with a deflected goal!

  17. 82

Goalscorer Hoilett trudges off to be replaced by Petrovic.

  18. 81

Dunn flashes a fierce effort inches past the Ruddy's right hand post.

  19. 80

CHANCE! Two chances in quick succession for Norwich with Givet superbly turning Holt's centre over the bar for a corner as Morison waited to tap home before Robinson collects Holt's effort seconds later.

  20. 79

Jason Lowe booked for taking too long with a Blackburn throw.

  21. 78

CHANCE! Hoolahan is lurking at the far post but seems to take his eye off the ball and doesn't connect cleanly to the relief of Robinson.

  22. 77

A long ball into the box by Norwich is meat and drink for the big Blackburn backline.

  23. 76

So Norwich have gone three up front following the changes but seem to have lost the width which has created a number of good opportunities for them.

  24. 75

And it's a double change with Andrew Crofts coming on for David Fox and Anthony Pilkington jogging off to be replaced by Simeon Jackson.

  25. 74

More activity on the touchline it seems as Norwich look set to make another change in a bid to turn the scoreline around.

  26. 73

But Blackburn regain possession and move the ball around very well. Certainly not lacking confidence.

  27. 72

Norwich having plenty of possession again without being able to create a decent opening to get back into this game.

  28. 71

Full back Naughton joins the Norwich attack and sees his rising shot from the edge of the area whistle over the Blackburn bar.

  29. 70

Double change for Blackburn with midfielder David Dunn and striker David Goodwillie replacing Rochina and goalscorer Yakubu. Big call there from Steve Kean.

  30. 69

But he can't get on the end of Fox's cross which is disappointingly headed clear at the front post.

  31. 68

Talisman Grant Holt enters the fray for Norwich before the set piece. He has replaced Elliot Bennett.

  32. 67

Morison tries to get around Samba in the Blackburn box but the big defender bundles the ball out for a home corner.

  33. 66

Can Norwich bounce back from this two goal deficit?

  34. 65

Norwich show their vulnerability from set pieces when Pedersen's curling free kick flashes across goal to the far post where Samba dives in to head home.

  35. 64

GOAL!! Samba pounces at the far post for Blackburn!

  36. 63

Another superb goal as the Nigerian striker puts his side back ahead by lashing home inside the area. Question marks over Ruddy though, who perhaps should have done better at his near post.

  37. 62

GOAL!! Yakubu bags out of nothing for Blackburn!

  38. 61

Morison demonstrates his strong work ethic by getting back in his own half to stop a Blackburn break down the left.

  39. 59

Entertaining game as we approach the hour mark - it's delicately poised and either team could go on to win.

  40. 58

The Swede gets into another promising position down the left and Formica fails to execute an ambitious scissor kick at the far post. Good response by the Lancashire side though.

  41. 57

Olsson creates some space in the Norwich area but can't pick out a team-mate.

  42. 55

CHANCE! Johnson nearly puts Norwich ahead after finding space in the Blackburn box to head goalwards. It seemed to take a deflection off Givet's hand before Robinson gratefully gathered.

  43. 54

Quality strike by the Wales international who shows great technique to smash a volley from the edge of the area past Robinson.

  44. 53

GOAL! Another cracker as Steve Morison levels for Norwich!

  45. 52

Hoilett comes off worst after clattering into Bennett and conceding a free kick. Both players are back on their feet.

  46. 51

Tierney and Pilkington continuing to link up well down the Norwich left but neither player can deliver a meaningful cross into the dangerzone.

  47. 50

Ambitious cross-field pass by Martin looks for Bennett in the Blackburn box but the ball flies out for a goal kick.

  48. 49

Both teams battling to get a foothold on the game in the opening stages of the second half.

  49. 48

At the other end Robinson shows him how to do it with a strong take from a Norwich left wing cross.

  50. 47

Ruddy not convincing again as he drops a high ball into the Norwich box without any pressure from a Blackburn player. But he gets away with it to gather at the second attempt.

  51. 46

Norwich get the game back underway as both teams return without making any half time changes.

  52. HT

Bit of a sickener there Norwich fans. Your team had plenty of possession in an entertaining first half but didn't convert their chances. And they were punished by Blackburn who have played with confidence when going forward. Email your half time thoughts and second half predictions to or via Twitter @J_Jurejko.

  53. 45+4

The Canadian has illuminated this game just seconds before the half time break with a stunning goal. He was given far too much space by the Norwich defence to cut inside before unleashing an unstoppable drive past the hapless Ruddy.

  54. 45+3

GOAL!! What a strike by Junior Hoilett!

  55. 45+2

Late chance for Blackburn as they win a corner which home keeper Ruddy comes to meet before Samba gets his head to it.

  56. 45+1

The fourth official holds up the board to reveal there will be three minutes of added time.

  57. 45

Hoilett brilliantly takes a long raking pass on his chest and cuts inside Naughton before Fox gets back to nick the ball off his toes in the Norwich box.

  58. 44

Tierney gives away a silly free kick on the right flank but makes amends by blocking Pedersen's goalbound effort.

  59. 43

Pedersen sends in another in-swinging left footed cross from the right and Barnett is there yet again to head clear.

  60. 42

Then their side come close again as Rochina flashes a right foot shot just wide.

  61. 41

But the home keeper was unsteady on his feet and nearly carried the ball into the net! Was it over the line? The Blackburn fans think so...

  62. 40

Pedersen ignores his waiting team-mates in the Norwich box and cracks the set piece straight at goal into the hands of Ruddy.

  63. 39

Hoilett has looked the Blackburn player most likely to do some damage and he cuts in from the left to win a free kick 25 yards out.

  64. 38

Blackburn on the ropes a little at the moment as Norwich get into their stride playing some lovely quick pass and move football.

  65. 37

Pilkington has been excellent so far - Norwich really should have converted one of his dangerous crosses into the Blackburn box.

  66. 36

CHANCE! Tierney and Pilkington cause more havoc down the Norwich left and the latter's cross finds Bennett who smashes straight into the side netting.

  67. 34

Pedersen finds himself in a promising position in the right channel but spoons his shot over the bar. Expect more quality from someone with a good left peg like the Norwegian in that area.

  68. 33

But Pedersen's throw comes to nothing as referee Taylor takes a tumble much to the delight of the home fans!

  69. 32

Hoilett and Olsson link well down the Blackburn left and force a throw in deep in Norwich territory.

  70. 31

First quiet lull in the game as Norwich keep possession and try to build from the back.

  71. 30

Johnson given acres of space on the edge of the Blackburn area before launching a fierce strike over the bar. Should have done better.

  72. 29

Formica always looks a danger with the ball at his feet and Russell MArtin has to be alert to hack clear his right wing cross.

  73. 28

Disappointing delivery is cleared easily at the front post but Norwich continue to build up the pressure with another wave of attacks.

  74. 27

Pilkington tries to tease away right back Lowe again but the young defender gets a block in and concedes a corner.

  75. 26

Tierney storms down the left and his ball back inside is headed wide by Johnson.

  76. 25

Leon Barnett, who has been impressive defensively, puts a stop to a Blackburn attack and launches his own team forward.

  77. 24

Norwich's Elliot Bennett goes into the book for a crunching tackle on Yakubu. Got the ball but his feet were off the floor and referee Taylor predictably brings the card out.

  78. 23

Been a cracker so far with plenty of endeavour and entertainment from both sides despite the game still being goalless midway through the first half.

  79. 21

Morison is clean through on goal...but he's fractionally offside. However, Robinson still produces another fantastic save which means the Welsh international would have been denied anyway.

  80. 20

Slight back strain for Bradley Johnson who receives some treatment on the sideline. The former Leeds man has been an important player in Norwich's engine room this season.

  81. 19

Comfortable save for Ruddy from Formica's curling effort.

  82. 18

Samba buys some time for his team by going down injured in his own box. Booing home fans reckon he's conned the referee there.

  83. 17

CHANCE! Brilliant save from Robinson who gets down low to his left to beat away Fox's stinging drive with one hand. Great technique from the Norwich midfielder matched by great goalkeeping by the former England man.

  84. 16

Norwich step up the tempo and Blackburn-born Pilkington's shot is deflected wide for Norwich's first corner of the game.

  85. 15

Two deliveries from Tierney swing in from the Norwich left which are swiftly dealt with by Samba.

  86. 14

Don't want to tempt fate Blackburn fans but...I've got to say your team have started well. They don't look like a side devoid of confidence.

  87. 13

Blood still pouring out of Givet's wound - the Frenchman proving he is a "warrior" as he was recently described by his boss Kean.

  88. 12

Cracking reverse pass from Rochina splits the Norwich defence but Yakubu makes a horrible mess of his effort and screws wide.

  89. 11

The game is swinging from end to end and Hoilett's left wing cross is headed clear by Barnett in the Norwich box.

  90. 10

Pilkington causes more problems down the Norwich left but his deep cross evades his team-mates.

  91. 9

There's blood pouring from both players' heads but they're back on their feet thankfully. They were concentrating on getting to a high ball and crashed straight into each other. Nasty.

  92. 8

Awful collision between two Blackburn players - Givet and Pedersen - sees the game stopped and the physios race onto the pitch.

  93. 7

Robinson comfortably collects a high cross from the Norwich right.

  94. 6

CHANCE! Norwich go up the other end and create a great chance of their own with Morison unable to convert Pilkington's wonderful low cross into the Blackburn danger zone.

  95. 5

Lively start for Blackburn with Formica's attempted threaded pass to the advancing Yakubu cut out by Barnett.

  96. 4

CHANCE! Ruddy makes a meal of Pedersen's corner and Yakubu pounces with an overhead kick before seeing a wall of Norwich bodies block his effort on the line.

  97. 3

Hoilett wins a throw-in for Blackburn down the left and Pedersen launches a long throw in which is headed clear by Barnett.

  98. 2

The visitors settle down and Yakubu feeds Formica who lashes a fierce shot from outside the area just inches over the Norwich bar. Good effort.

  99. 1

Blackburn get the game underway and Chris Samba has to quickly nip across to stop Wes Hoolahan going clear in the opening few seconds.

  100. 2.58pm

Today's referee Anthony Taylor from Cheshire leads the two teams out to a fantastic atmosphere inside a packed Carrow Road.

  101. 2.56pm

The players are gathering in the tunnel with kick-off just moments away.

  102. 2.54pm

Rovers have not lost to Norwich in the last eight meetings between the two teams. The Canaries last beat the visitors in October 1994 with a 2-1 win at Carrow Road. History is not on your side Norwich fans - but we know it counts for nothing this afternoon.

  103. 2.50pm

If Blackburn concede today it will be the 850th against them in the Premier League.

  104. 2.49pm

Norwich have the highest percentage of headed goals in the Premier League with 45 per cent of their total coming from the air.

  105. 2.48pm

As the players go through their final warm-ups in the Carrow Road sunshine, let's have a couple more stats...

  106. 2.46pm

What do we make of the Carling Cup run Blackburn fans? Is it a help or a hindrance? For anyone who has missed it, Rovers have been drawn at Championship side Cardiff in the last eight of the competition.

  107. 2.40pm

I presume you Norwich fans are a little happier with your team's start? Feeling confident this afternoon? Email your thoughts to or tweet me @J_Jurejko.

  108. 2.31pm

And under-fire Blackburn manager Steve Kean has brought back his first-team regulars after making changes for Wednesday's morale boosting Carling Cup win over Newcastle. Midfielder Steven Nzonzi returns from suspension, but centre-back Scott Dann again misses out with a calf injury. David Dunn returns to the matchday squad for the first time since September 11.

  109. 2.29pm

So, as expected, Paul Lambert names an unchanged team for the sixth successive Premier League game. It means club captain Grant Holt again has to settle for a place on the bench, despite scoring in last weekend's 1-1 draw at Liverpool.

  110. 2.27pm

Blackburn: Robinson, Lowe, Samba, Givet, Olsson, Rochina, Pedersen, Nzonzi, Hoilett, Formica, Yakubu. Subs: Bunn, Dunn, Petrovic, Goodwillie, Vukcevic, Roberts, Hanley.

  111. 2.26pm

Norwich: Ruddy, Naughton, Russell Martin, Barnett, Tierney, Bennett, Johnson, Fox, Pilkington, Hoolahan, Morison. Subs: Rudd, Crofts, Holt, Jackson, Surman, Wilbraham, De Laet.

  112. 2.26pm

    The teamsheet has arrived...

  113. 2.20pm

I don't know about everybody else but I'm expecting a few goals today. Norwich have only kept three clean sheets in their last 25 games, while Blackburn have conceded in each of their last 15 matches.

  114. 2.16pm

Rovers have yet to win on their travels and last won at Carrow Road in August 1999 - can they turn the tide this afternoon?

  115. 2.15pm

The Canaries have lost just once in their last five games and are flying high in eighth place, while rock-bottom Blackburn have won just once in the Premier League this season.

  116. 2.10pm

Team news will be on the way very shortly - in the meantime shall we have a few stats? Why not...

  117. 2.05pm

There's just under an hour until kick-off and as always I want to hear your opinions and predictions ahead of the game. So please get in touch and I'll publish a selection of the best comments. Email your thoughts to or via Twitter @J_Jurejko.

  118. 2pm
