1. Both teams huffed and puffed but it was the day of the defences at Villa Park as Richard Stearman and Chris Herd provided resolute performances. A very committed game that keeps both teams unbeaten and the spoils shared in the first Midlands derby of the season.

   Dunne ushers the ball to safety but Villa are still on the back foot as Warnock boots Foley's cross out of play for a throw-in.

   It's another Wolves corner as Herd can't keep an O'Hara cross in play.

   A Wolves corner is cleared by Bent as Villa soak up the pressure with three added minutes set to be played.

    It's superb attacking from Villa but Johnson is again terrific as he sweeps away Agbonlahor's cross in with Wolves again looking to maintain a period of possession as Doyle picks it up.

    Villa play it short and N'Zogbia is unmarked as Wolves go to sleep but his effort is disappointing as the winger drags his shot horribly wide.

    Herd is penalised for a foul on Ward as Villa continue to apply pressure all over the pitch but Wolves remain firm at the back despite their lack of attacking threat.

    Johnson's header is straight to Agbonlahor but Stearman recovers the ball for Wolves as Villa are now pressing all over the pitch giving the visitors minimal time on the ball.

    Herd is again in the box unmarked this time and he directs an accurate header into the top corner forcing a top save as Hennessey as Wolves struggle to contain the hosts currently.

    Villa are getting closer as Agbonlahor edges past Johnson with his shot parried wide before Dunne gets on the end of a corner which is cleared off the line by Johnson.

    Wolves break from the corner but N'Zogbia is sensational as he blocks off Ward before Doyle is judged to have pushed Warnock and Villa win a free-kick.

    The corner runs over the top to Dunne who tries to lift it back into the box but Johnson heroically clears before another corner is given for Villa after Petrov's cross deflects off Ward.

    Heskey plays in Petrov and the Villa skipper wins a corner as Wolves are again strong in defence.

    Agbonlahor shows delightful skill to turn past O'Hara as Delph picks it up with Villa trying to carve an opening which Berra heads out for a corner.

    Wolves look to calm things down with O'Hara who maintains a steady flow of possession before Delph steps in and plays in Agbonlahor as the game starts to open up a little.

    N'Zogbia's energy is too much for Ward as Villa nip in and steal possession before Herd's ball is cleared with Villa trying to work an opening with Herd again but his cross is too high for Heskey.

    Villa kick off and Herd immediately finds Agbonlahor who is again dealt with vigilantly by Stearman.

I'm a Fulham supporter and these are the two teams that we have played this season. Mind you, come to think of it Villa were poor agiainst us at the cottage. 106. Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish makes one enforced change for the home Barclays Premier League derby with Wolves. Right-back Luke Young, who held talks with QPR yesterday after the two clubs agreed a fee, is ruled out with a knee problem suffered against Blackburn last weekend and replaced by Chris Herd. Wolves boss Mick McCarthy names an unchanged side for the third successive league game although striker Sam Vokes replaces the injured Sylvan Ebanks-Blake amongst the substitutes.
