Caddis: Injury concern for Robins

Team news ahead of Tuesday's League Two clash between Swindon Town and Torquay at County Ground.

Swindon are waiting on the fitness of captain Paul Caddis as he battles with an ankle injury ahead of the top-of-the-table clash.

Caddis has missed the previous two games but is hoping to return for the promotion battle.

Should Caddis not make the squad, Alan McCormack is expected to continue to deputise at full-back.

Paolo Di Canio made four changes to his side as they were beaten 2-0 by Crewe at the weekend and changes are to be expected again as the Italian seeks to get back to winning ways.

Strikers Alan Connell and Billy Bodin were not involved in the defeat and will be pressing for recalls.

Torquay have just one injury problem going into the crucial promotion battle.

The top two meet as The Gulls look to cut the four-point gap between themselves and the summit and extend their three-match away winning run.

Manager Martin Ling will be happy with his squad's fitness and he only has concerns over midfielder Damon Lathrope.

Lathrope is suffering from an ankle injury that flared up again during the 4-1 drubbing of Burton at the weekend.

He is currently rated at 50/50 to make the game and if he cannot play then Lathanial Rowe-Turner may be recalled and Joe Oastler pushed into midfield. Ling also has the option of playing on-loan Ryan Jarvis in a wide midfield role.

Danny Stevens was feeling sore after the latest victory but has recovered and will be involved.
