Burton fell foul of an 89th-minute Simon Walton penalty as Plymouth claimed a 2-1 win to climb off the bottom of the Football League.
Walton coolly slotted his second goal of the game after on-loan Wolves winger Ashley Hemmings was fouled by Andres Gurrieri. His first put Argyle ahead in the 47th minute, as he drilled a 20-yard drive home following a mazy run from inspirational teenage winger Luke Young. Walton has now scored nine goals for the resurgent Greens, buoyed by the return of midfielder Paul Wotton. Calvin Zola claimed his 10th goal of the season to make it 1-1 in the 74th minute. Argyle failed to clear a steepling Cleveland Taylor free kick from wide out on the left which looked to be going out before Tony James headed the ball back across goal at the far post. Justin Richards headed the ball on and Zola swooped to nod in.
