Duffy: Looks set for starting role

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Cheltenham and Hereford at Whaddon Road.

Darryl Duffy is set to come into Cheltenham's starting line-up.

Duffy has found himself out of the side for the matches against Torquay and AFC Wimbledon, but manager Mark Yates is expected to hand his experienced striker another chance up front this weekend.

Otherwise, the Robins are injury and suspension-free as they look to bounce back from their heavy defeat to Wimbledon last time out.

Yates wants his team to shore up at the back for the visit of the Bulls, who themselves conceded six goals last time out.

"The players have held their hands up for the mistakes and now we have to put things right," Yates told the club's official website.

Joe Colbeck and Jordan Rose are likely to be unavailable for Hereford.

Midfielder Colbeck stepped out for the club's reserves on Wednesday and suffered a recurrence of his recent knee injury, while defender Rose also pulled his thigh.

Both are set to miss out at Whaddon Road as the Bulls aim to bounce back from last weekend's 6-1 home defeat at the hands of Gillingham.

Rob Purdie returned for the drubbing following a thigh injury and will look to inspire United, who have now lost their last three, to a better performance this time around.

Defender Stefan Stam (hamstring) has got a good week's worth of training under his belt but it remains to be seen whether he will feature in any capacity. Benoit Dalibard and goalkeeper Adam Bartlett, who have hamstring and thigh injuries, respectively, continue to be sidelined.
