Dennehy: Could feature

Team news ahead of Saturday's League Two clash between Barnet and Oxford United at Underhill.

The Bees will check on Darren Dennehy and Steve Kabba ahead of the home tie.

Centre-half Dennehy missed Tuesday night's win over Plymouth with a groin problem and striker Kabba sat out with a dead leg.

Daniel Leach, who like Dennehy has just returned from nearly a year on the sidelines with a foot injury, deputised in the centre of defence and came through his first 90 minutes of the season so his fitness will be monitored.

Charlie Taylor started in attack in midweek with new signing Lloyd Owusu on the bench, so boss Lawrie Sanchez has plenty of options if Kabba is passed fit.

Midfielder Tommy Fraser is back in training after suffering concussion in training last month.

The U's are still without a trio of long-term injury casualties for the trip.

Defender Tony Capaldi's back problem is taking time to heal, while forward Tom Craddock (knee) remains sidelined.

On-loan Jonathan Franks has returned to Middlesbrough after learning he could be out for up to 12 weeks with a dislocated shoulder, which was operated on on Sunday.

"Jonathan Franks is expected to be out of action for between six and 12 weeks after undergoing surgery on his dislocated shoulder," read a Boro club statement.

"The surgery involved inserting pins into the shoulder."

Striker Lewis Guy has gone back to MK Dons after the culmination of his loan spell at the Kassam Stadium, although James Constable is fully fit up front.
