Devitt: Eager to play

Team news ahead of Saturday's League Two clash between Bradford City and Bristol Rovers at the Coral Windows Stadium.

Bradford striker Ross Hannah and loan signing Jamie Devitt are pushing for starting berths.

Hannah, a summer signing from Matlock, struck a last-minute equaliser for the Bantams at Morecambe last week, while Devitt, a recent loan capture from Hull, also made an instant impression after stepping off the bench.

On-loan pair Matt Duke, also from Hull, and Charlton's Kyel Reid, made their debuts under new manager Phil Parkinson at Morecambe and are expected to retain their places.

But Parkinson, taking charge of his second game since replacing Peter Jackson, will still be without midfielders Lee Bullock (hip) and David Syers (knee), defenders Simon Ramsden (calf) and Steve Williams (calf) as well as striker Nialle Rodney (ankle).

Meanwhile Bristol Rovers could have up to four players back at their disposal after a difficult 10 days at the Memorial Stadium.

Rovers have lost their last three matches in all competitions, conceding 10 goals in the process, during which time defenders Cian Bolger, Gary Sawyer and Adam Virgo have all been missing due to injury.

But manager Paul Buckle is hopeful the trio can play some part against the Bantams as well as striker Joe Anyinsah, another who has spent some time on the sidelines of late.

"We were down to the bare bones the other night (the 3-1 defeat to Wycombe on Tuesday)," Buckle told the club's official website. "But now things are looking a bit brighter."

However, forward Chris Zebroski looks set to miss the fixture after taking a knock against Crawley last weekend.
