McLeod: Suspended for the Bees

Team news ahead of Saturday's League Two clash between Barnet and Accrington Stanley at Underhill.

Izale McLeod will be missing for Barnet.

The striker, who has six goals to his name already this season, is suspended after being sent off against Colchester in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Steve Kabba, who has made two substitute appearances since recovering from knee surgery, could start in McLeod's place if he is deemed fit enough.

Defender Anwar Uddin (groin) and midfielder Tommy Fraser (head) missed Tuesday night's win through injury and will be assessed ahead of kick-off.

Centre-half Darren Dennehy came on as a substitute after almost a year on the sidelines with a foot problem and could be involved again.

Winger Mark Marshall will start after the Bees turned down a bid for him from Charlton.

Accrington boss John Coleman could hand a debut to new signing Tom Bender.

The 18-year-old Colchester defender, who can play at left-back or centre-half, has penned a deal at the Crown Ground until the end of the season.

Bender, who made his U's bow aged 16, will come into contention to make his debut but Leam Richardson remains doubtful with a calf problem and could again miss out.

However, Stanley have no other major concerns as they seek to build on last Saturday's 2-1 home win against Burton.

Accrington lie 15th after five games, and Coleman said: "I think we've got more points than the same stage last season and then we made the play-offs."
