Lucescu: Shakhtar on a high
Shakhtar Donetsk can book their place in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League should they win in Belgrade and Braga fail to defeat Arsenal.
Aleksandar Stanojevic's Partizan - the only Serbian team to play in the Champions League, are determined to give their supporters at least one victory having won none of their last 10 Champions League matches.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian champions head into the game on a high after beating Arsenal on Matchday Four to join the Gunners at the top of Group H with nine points.
Indeed, Shakhtar have won five of their last six Champions League matches and the squad arrived in Belgrade a day earlier in preparation for the match.
Mircea Lucescu's side have lost just two of their last 35 matches in all competitions and the Pitmen claimed their eighth successive victory with a 3-1 win at Zorya Luhansk at the weekend.
Lucescu says his Shakhtar side must go all-out for three points at the Partizan Stadium.
"We will go for the win," he said.
"My players will give their best so that we can get the three points. We will make sure that we play with maximum concentration.
"In the Champions League every point makes a difference, so for both us and our opponent every match counts. I don't think that Partizan will give up easily."
Meanwhile, Stanojevic was adamant that his Partizan side would give everything to try and secure their first victory of the group stage.
"We owe it to our fans, for having supported us in the Champions League, to give our best and get a positive result," he said.
The Black-Whites have no new injury worries are expected to have a full-strength squad available for the game.
Striker Cleo who bagged eight goals in their Champions League qualifiers has recovered from a minor knee injury and should start.
Shakhtar duo Darijo Srna and Eduardo sat out the weekend game having returned from international duty with minor injuries.
Fernandinho is out for the rest of the season after breaking his right leg back in September.
