Crewe scored four second-half goals to record a comfortable 4-0 pre-season victory at Quorn FC.

Local lad Ajay Leitch-Smith scored twice after coming on as a second-half substitute to earn the praise.

Sean Cooke and Jordan Connerton then added two more late on against the spirited non-leaguers.

Dario Gradi named trialists Chris Stokes and Lewis Short in his starting line-up as the Railwaymen earned a flattering victory.

Crewe begin their League Two campaign at home against Hereford on 7th August.
